I had my 25 beastlord in Unrest, and fought one of these. But instead of turning into a mirror image of me, it turned into my pet.
Scared the crap out of me, thought I hit a button or something. But the aug seems nice enough. So, yeah, quiet a little surprise... Not too shabby. Was fighting a Greater Skelly.
Incidentally, I had a named mob in Chardok (Foreman Mirt`akk) turn into one of these. Once the mob died, it dropped the normal loot table for the named, plus the aug that drops off changelings in Chardok.
These guys are random spawns in any of the current hotzones, so all of those zones can be placed in Known Habitats.
They drop different loot, such as Lesser Stone of Power, Stone of Might.. and more which I can't remember the name of.
You'll be fighting any given mob in a zone, and it will turn into your mirror reflection and change to "An Unmasked Changeling".
