Went to hail him and he tells me "You share nothing with those of nature. Be gone from my site."
I currently am Amiable to him, do you need to be Allied to get the breath weapon quests?
Toon is a level 14 Drakkin Druid.

After completing my quests, I go to the council, and they say I can see the Venesh, but when I do, he says I still have lots to prove and to speak to the council. I am level 5 and have got the widow's poison sac. This situation reminds me of when I was a kid, I asked my mom for permission to go someplace, and she told me to talk to my dad, so I did, and he told me to speak to my mom, so I went to the place and got in major trouble.
First off you have to have green hair. Secondly you need to have finished the task arc: Getting to Know You. Once you do this, then you hail the green councilman to do that quest. After you finish it, the green dragon should talk to you.
If you don't have green hair, just adjust to the appropriate color of councilman and do his/her quest.

You can attack the dragons however all would aggro if you were in a raid sized force, it would take about 52 people with 80th lvl gear/spells to survive the lizards on their hybrid guards watching over them.

4/24/08 - It's not listed in patch message but as of today the dragons are again accepting turn-ins for the Strengthening the Blood tasks.
