Yeah i did it too. I didnt know what it was, it conned green so i gave it a shot. Soon hade dude (whoever he is) on me so i ran. was high enough lvl that i knew i wouldnt die but i didnt want the faction hit. lucky for me i forgot about the 3 guards at the wall when i ran through.I lmao when i made it to runnyeye.

By mistake, I tried to kill Ember and was smashed down in the back (I suppose by the hobbit to whom she's the pet).
Is this the case? How is it possible to kill Ember without ... say, dying ?

you can kill him no problem at around lvl 15, I started an alt, a lvl 1 druid, and I attacked Ember, then started runnin, the owner guy caught up with me and hit me, a lvl 1 druid, for about 50 damage. So, if I take my lvl 40 warrior there, I could kill her owner, and Ember in about 6 hits total, probably less, so, the way to kill Ember and not get killed by her owner is take a mid lvl character and slaughter them both.

Being as it's a pet there will be no loot. The reason you got odd items is because some people decided to give Ember items they had on them that they looted off other mobs.

I killed ember the other day and he droped nothing, all you have to do to get to him is have a druid harmony the leader guy (forget his name) and pull ember away, he does give bad faction though...
