I will be damned but it is true - you will find these guys on the fork near Cazic thule....The newbie quest tells you to avoid those shores but that is where you find them, so becareful of the Tae Ew!

they spawn right at the base of the ramp into cazic thule temple
I did this quest today and killing Zanivar's scouts no longer mentions the "beta KOS" faction hit other folks have mentioned. I assume that's a special "always KOS" faction used for quest mobs and it wasn't intended to be mentioned on kills.
Finding this guys was a pain though. I'm KOS in Oggok so I didn't want to get too close there, so I was looking along the river like the quest tells me to. The only place I ever found any scouts was in the area between the river forks where the Tae Ew temple is, so I had to watch out for the lizards.

Ok, since soe changed the ogre bind point to Oggok entrance, these guys also no longer roam the Oggok / Innothule areas of the zone. Havent checked on live servers, but on test they were roaming at the Temple of Cazic Thule island instead.

The Zanivars scout is for the task Into the Muck, given in PoK. You have to "silence" four of them.
Ok I just recently started an ogre war and this little jerk can be annoying when yer running to and from Ogguk cause he tends to walk right up to the zone line and back. Killed him a good 3,4, maybe even 5 times once or twice with the help of my wife's 47 Barb War.

I got the message that I lost faction with "Beta KOS" on the first kill, second kill I could not possibly get worse with BETA KOS. ...Sounds like some sort of test mob to me. :/
What faction is this guy on? CraZy I'm not KoS to any darkelf factions. Yet I meet this guy and I'm 100% kos to this guy.
