Engaging him starts the script and fight.

After some 10-15% health loss he runs from his spawn spot near Dranik's Scar towards the back-tunnels leading up to the The Keeper (the monk on top of the bridge in the center of the zone).
While running he does not seem to be able to take damage. He runs fast, so keep up. He stops after a few hundred feet and seem to call help from one or two Dragorn Flunkies, who rushes in to help.
At this point you can damage him again. At level 85 I just ignored the flunkies and kept meleeing on Jekisia. After another 10-15% health loss this repeats, i.e. he runs a few hundred more feet and calls more flunkies.
When he reached the Keeper he was down to 15-20% and I could finish him off, and subsequently kill off the train of flunkies I had on my back (about 8-10 of them).
Since this was just a curious try on a mob I never saw before, just passing by and found him on track, I was not prepared for a script. Thus, this explanation may need a little more detail and accuracy.

We were a group of 60-62 (Nec, Sha, Enc) with 2 war mercs and 1 cleric merc.
Fight was going well, got him to 70% with lots of mana to spare
Then he run to the other end of his wall and POOF! - he is back at his spawn point.
All 3 Mercs poofed too, only they didnt come back.
We got him down to 40% but with no Cleric and Tank mercs we ran out of mana and died.
Now we are all standing naked in PoK, and guess who decided to come back.. OUR MERCS!!! Damn traitors! :-D

So went out messing around on my ranger and decided to grab this guy. Got him to 60% hit my storm of arrows and it headshot him 3 times. BAM dead.

Wanted to get the club for my BL, so i figured i would solo as an 82 Mage (192 aa) w/ T2 Cleric Merc. Easy fight, but had to use Staunch Recovery (veteran AA) to get more mana, or i wouldnt have finished in time.
Stragety i used was to ignore adds. Either myself or merc took aggro (went back and forth). Kept pet on named entire fight. As soon as you could engage, i would send in Servant, and nuke like crazy. Rinse and repeat every time he stops. He got to the bridge, and then went down. Dropped the club /cheer. Merc and i were at 50% after fight, without killing add's. Gated, didnt feel like messing with them.

Solo'd him today with my Cleric. Mostly elegeant defiant gear, some tier 3 sod stuff but not much. Buffed with just Teme3, Unity, haste and Vop. Took me about 8 minutes to solo him down. He likes to run away, send his posse to mob you then summon. Used VoV, ward, mark and skinspikes throughout the fight. He dropped a crappy slot 7 belt. This should not be a raid mob imo. He isn't worth messing with unless you are looking to prove something to yourself and he has no real purpose in any quest. Just my 2 cps.

ive been looking for him for a bout 2 weeks now off and on. getting on to see if he is.. IS he a trigered spawn of some sort? or anyone know his spawning info.

I decided to solo this event today. Wasn't too difficult, basically you fight EDJ for about 10-15% health every stop and every stop there will be 2 a dragorn flunkie adds. 541 was the max hit I saw from named, adds damage was trivial.

I was able to 2box this fight almost. I say almost because the event is apparently timed, and I couldn't finish it in time with only 1 dps. My main is a 75 Ranger, almost 17k hps buffed; and I also boxed my 75 Shaman. Probably just one more dps class would allow getting through the adds faster and finishing this event in time.

tried to solo him today im lvl 75 cleric anguish/tacvi geared 13khp buffed, I would have been fine but was PLing my monk and was down to 30pct mana when i engaged. I dps'd him down to about 60 pct and went through 3 sets of adds, 2 spawned each time he stoped running. I was using DA hammer for a while so wasent really paying attention to my health as he wasent hitting me that hard and HOT was keeping me up with the occosaional Promised renewal. needles to say I forgot to heal myself and went splat. If I was full mana it would have been cake as long as i pay attention. will try again some other day

I would definitely remove the raid tag from this mob. I am a casual SK, level 73 206aa with 9650hp and 2320ac unbuffed, with just tenacity and self buffs I soloed this mob to 90%. If not for my poor resists I might be able to take this mob to 70% or further down solo. When I cast FD I was at 65% mana and 25% health. It would be a sure win with any healer. I imagine a well rounded level 60 group could take this encounter. The max hit I saw was 714.

tagged this guy with my 60 sk 6.2hp and 1387 ac for fun max hit one me was 843 cast two spells in the space of 5 seconds one hit me/pet for 1500 the other (pet was dead) hit me for 2500. perma rooted, dint see through invis/hide and fd worked fine. was holding the club.

We killed him last night be prepared! He suxs *** and his loot sucks for the difficulty of the encounter, raid force was 46 time/GoD equipped he begins the encounter perma rooted but at a % emotes 'Save me, help me escape!' and takes off in the direction of the keeper, he stops several times on the way until his HP hits a certain % then takes off again. I think he stopped maybe 3 - 4 times on the way to the Keeper

The actual mob is'nt that difficult what makes it fun is massive amount of adds he aggros as he runs, and healing on the run is'nt fun either people getting oor as you stop to heal them, of course after you've killed him you have all the adds to deal with.

He did'nt even drop a rune! this was dropped and as you can imagine the classes that could use it had much better weapons, so it went to my lvl 55 warrior alt arf arf, fun encounter but unless he has a serious loot upgrade we would'nt kill him again.

It might take a raid to drop him, but zoned into bloodfields today (first time), and he was up with no one else in zone. Does not see invis. Unless he is just a left over from a raid attempt.

When engaging EDJ, rush him on the wall. If you aggro him then move away, he starts blasting you for 2500 every 10 seconds or so.

It appears that he's "rooted to his script". At 95% health he spawns 2 adds, and walks about 10 feet down the wall. Adds are called "a Dragorn Flunky" or something like that. It's hard to do as a ranged fight due to the shape of the wall.

The AE is a 1k hp/tic and 1k mana/tic DoT. Very nasty.

He also despawns about 5 minutes or so after engage if not killed, but respawns within a few hours (probably to reset script).

As Psyndeigh said, his melee is laughable, it's the AE that will get you.

AE is Black rain which has 200 range. He spawns adds as you beat on him but they are minor and rootable - also mana drains so this is a good fight to set up as ranged - tried to single group him with Time/GoD geared peeps no go - prolly would take 2-3 groups with ranged fighters to take him down
