This also drops the regular Murmamite rune (level 68 spells/disc). Dropped four of them tonight for me.
Just started over on Ragefire with a friend. Ragefire is a time locked progression server.

If you stay in the camp quite a while doing both the bat and the rat named, you will probably find they pop as often or even more frequent than the PH's.

The loot table needs updating too. Both the named can drop A Muramite Rune (L68) as well as minor and lesser runes. I want minor/lesser as I can use them and keep getting the higher one ! Ah well, can't complain - L68 spells banked :)

This zone begins with a tunnel to an open area which leads directly to a second tunnel and a second open area to a third and a fourth etc.
After you have run through a few caves and open areas, you will come to an open area that allows you to continue straight or turn left. Take the left route. More caves and open areas lie ahead until you come to a second open area that allows you to continue straight or turn left. Again, take the left route. After two or three more caves and open areas, you will notice the hideous rat standing in the middle of one of the cave areas. There is a blighted rat on each end that roams near the place holder.
We simply move to the blighted rat past the ph hideous rat. Kill the blighted, then the hideous. ITU is necessary, as mentioned in another post, to quickly get to the ph. We have only done this one time, but will be back often. In a three hour camp, the named spawned four times. He dropped the earring once and the totem three times. No runes dropped the first night. If you travel through the next open area and into the next cave, you will see an open area full of bats. The bat ph was among those bats. Mob respawn time seems to be 19 minutes.

Here is what I Know

Ok a few of my guildies have been farming this named for the past 3 days or so and here is what I found out. You can Invis Vs. Undead right to the camp. Rats and bats are non-KoS so if your IVU drops stay near them till u can recast. The rats and bats will add with any other mob which can become very agrovating. So far we have hilled the Scuttling Rat about 10 times, hae has always dropped the Engraved War Totem and about 6 of those times he has dropped some sort of rune. I have never seen the HP aug drop so I would assume it is the rare drop.
The other named is a bat. The placer holder for that named is a taterwing bat. The named bat (Name excapes my memory) seems to be more rare than the Scuttling Rat. The bat has dropped a mask everytime and a rune about 1/2 he time. I have heard that the bat drops a pretty nice earring.

Also it should be known that from level 65 - 67 (Cant confirm below 65 cause I was 65 when I started doing these Exp.) you get the same Exp. i.e. Same map, same mobs, same Place holders, same named. At level 68 it changes, new map, new place holders, new named, new drops. Mobs go from dark blue to a 66 to white and yellow. I hope this help out a bit. Also when I get a loc on the camp in the 65-67 Exp for the named ill post it.

1350, 622 is the loc give or take. Its in a long hallway between one of the major open caverns and one of the small rooms that has the single bat stuck flying up and down in it. I went straight till it stopped and from there it was a couple rooms away (dont remember exact path as I tracked him).

He is there with a roaming blighted rat. He sits in the middle of the passageway in one of those little room pass-through areas. Wimp. My warrior took like 20% damage in the whole fight. Should be easily doable by decent group of low 60s as he doesnt hit harder then a PoV mob (mid 500s if I remember). I used my ranger to WS just in case (always play it safe in OoW so I dont get a named that whacks me) and then transfered aggro to my warrior after my chanter and shammy tashed/malo/slowed. Complete pushover and not much more hp then the blighted (if any). At least mostly if not completely slowable.

Just there to find where to farm my spells (got 5 casters in my 6box) :)

And this is the 65-67 loc as mentioned in the above post

RE: Location ?

You can camp it, as all mobs have a 20 min respawn.
As to directions, it was very roughly, straight on a bit, then a right, a left straight on some more to a small passage on the right with a rat and a bat in. Basically its very far in, I didnt have a map or a tracker either...

Bat is PH for one named, the rat is nothing, another rat just outside room somewhere is PH for other named.
We fought in the tiny room at the end of the passage as no wanderers or anything.
