just looking for info on once you get down into the um inner inner ac once the floor splits there are to spirits guys one was in a red ring from the celing do they bolth have to be saved or can you just save one if so are you fliping a coin on witch one to save. i peeked throught the door with eye of zomm and say a bridge with lave at the bottom coudn't get eye accrost it does this become a sollid bridge if you pick the right spirittualist? if so what is to exspect in the up and comming rooms.

Lore that Im aware of. Khati Sha was one of the greatest adventurers of the Vah Shir people. He was captured by the Shissar and converted(twisted) into his present form. He escaped the shissar and the Grimlings came to worship him as a God.

I've been looking for any guild on any server that has done the AC events since zone revamp.
Other than the RoF (Ring of Fire) event which I know can't be started. What progressive events remain working?
I already know and solo the named pops of Blood Mage, Blood Priest, Primalist, Ritualist, Arcanist, Arch Sage, High Priest, and Warlord.
I've done the Evolved Burrower more times than i can count (MINI RAID) done with as few as one full group and much easier with 2-3 groups.
To date I've yet to find anyone that KNOWS for sure if "The Twisted" has been defeated on any server since zone revamp. I'd be most keen to talk with anyone that can provide advice.
MHB has started the Ward Event a couple of times and we are learning as we go. With the PHAT LEWT of other places like EP, VT, VP, ST, SSRA keenly fixed in peoples eyes this LOL... Old zone gets overlooked often and without wasting 50-60 folks time to take on this MOB I'd like to get as much research and planning done before hand.

This event is the access for the trapdoor below the Warlords room. Killing Ward of Death first makes Ward of Life targetable (Providing you have kept the Val Shir in the cells alive by cleaning out the event spawn mobs in the cells). After killing the Ward of Life specific information is scarce.
Before zone revamp there were ways to spawn other mobs kinda higher powered versions of the named pops I solo now. The Grimling Arch Mage for one that dropped...

In any event back to the BOSS mob. Access below the warlords room leads to an outer room where 2 mobs supposedly pop and you pick one to kill, if ya pick the right one you can a couple of Elite Grimlings and this guy to fight (The Elite Grimlings con Yellow to level 65).
Getting past them opens a door to a Lava River crossing. A couple of mobs either side after you go through door. Cross the lava flow, go down a short winding tunnel and you'll enter an outer throne room. More of those yellow conning Elite Gaurds in the corners. Next room has 4 of the spirit wards looking mobs and a pool of water in it (I have not been able to get close enough to see what they are on track and only be peeking through walls in bear form have I been able to snap some screen shots). This is the last room and I'm assuming these are the mobs referred to as the "Fake Khati The Twisted". Killing thme may pop the big guy and the ensuing spawning of the defiled minions.
That is where we are right now. Any other information would be appreciated specifically anything POST zone revamp.

Holy crap!! No offense but I happen to think this guys loot is VERY nice indeed. I pity those who think this mobs loot is chintzy - you are WAY spoiled and need a reality check as most of the peeps who play EQ are NOT in ubah raiding PoTime guilds that can pick and choose their armor.
I'd love to tag along on a raid to off this guy, not just because my BST would love that bracer, but because as a Vah Shir, I'd love to put his poor tortured soul to rest. =)

He/she never stated you had to be in a Time guild to do this mob just that some people based on time gear or better and what not proclaim that this mobs loot table is crap...
From what I can tell this person simply is saying they could and would make good use of this loot... I don't see where the RP guild bit tied in... unless your posting to a post before the one you replied to... if thats the case my bad its not showing for whatever reason... (bad post karma maybe?)
Anyway yah most of this gear is still good gear to some people... Point in case I think flags and level play a big factor in how good loot really is to you...

Well Dalarek I'm glad you've decided your the spokesperson for all PoTime raiding guilds.When we go to AC we do let friends tag along also we do flagings from non-guildies and have flaged pre-60's to EPs.So before you speak for all guilds join all of them and see.

If not, then I will be posting info for everyone soon, as my guild plans to take him on soon.
I doubt he's as difficult as others have claimed. He's most likely another Inny, as in no one knows the strat cause the guilds that do know it don't share it and hence make the encounter seem alot more difficult than it really is. Thereby buying those guilds time to farm him.
Don't ever listen to those that say, " You can't do this encounter because you're not in X guild ". Most Elemental flagged guilds have accomplished what they have through zerging and hence their player base does not know or is unaware of what a small group of talented dedicated players are capable of doing. I've had the pleasure of proving said people wrong on several occasions and if I prove them wrong again or not, I will gladly post the info I find here for all.

I suspect he is as difficult as others have claimed. At the last count, around 5 guilds serverwide had killed Khati Sha.
The reasons for this are twofold:
1. His loot isn't good enough for the difficulty of the encounter. Even the stuff you see listed here is roughly low-VT, mid-range Ssra quality. Furthermore, he is only one mob, thus for a 3-4 hour ring event, you only get a few drops. 3-4 hours in VT gets you pretty much the whole place with CoH bots.
2. He's bloody hard for Luclin. Most of the guilds that have killed him are EP / Time. The EP ones said that he was no joke, and I've seen scraps of confirmed information that show why. From what I've heard, he sounds like the hardest Luclin encounter skill-wise.
As a result, the only guilds that have killed him have done so as a challenge to themselves. His less than amazing loot means they don't need to farm him (there's no point), so your idea about why they are holding back strats doesn't make much sense. More likely is that they aren't telling people for the same reason AL aren't shouting their GoD strats to the world - it's competition, not just for loot, but prestige. This isn't a common encounter, so do your own research or make your own strats.
Having said which, I agree with what you say about EP zerg guilds and the potential of smaller and tighter raid forces, but I have a hunch that you are selling this one a bit short. Be wary, look into it a bit more, or you might be in for a long CR =)

Defiled Minions spawns during the fight. Don't know much about them.
The guild had 65 when they took him down, they said they could probably do with less, but not by much (they are in Plane of Time btw, to give you an idea how hard it is).

bla bla, that Av guy is right, you are just one of those people that have watched from afar. I doubt you could even get into AC without someone holding your hand lol.
Hearsay. Provide facts please. Guild X had Y DTing mobs appearing is simply not helpful. And there are several guilds in plane of time.

First, if you want to know for sure, do it your self. Second, he gave you very valiable information. Three, he wasn't saying there weren't many guilds in PoTime, he's informing you of the type of gear/tactics/numbers that are needed to take him down. Bend over.
Hearsay. Instead of being lazy and just asking me to tell you everything how about you go and find the details you want (just like I had to do). I just stated that yes their were adds during the fight, if you really want to know go spawn him.
If you don't have any actual info, why bother posting at all if not asking a question.

The Kati Sha are the Beastlords of Shar Vahl, is this guy related to them? Maybe the founder? Whats the story behind him?
He was once the great Hero of Shar Vahl. He went out to discover this new world known as Luclin. During his adventures he ran across the grimlings as well as the snake people known as the Shissar. The Shissar captured him and did an experiment on him to try to make him into a God to govern over the growning threat of the Grimlings. The experiment went horribly wrong and he was morphed into the creature pictured without any of his prior memories. Having found the Grimlings he used his new powers (which were given to him during the experiment) to give the Grimlings thought. For that they worship him as their God.
Nice, that would explain the book found off of the Shissar Assasin.
a more indepth story would be this,
Khati sha the former would be best vah shir explorer, was seen as a hero and as a great explorer.
He traveled all over luclin until he had stumbled upon the shissar. They proceeded to capture him and began to torture him. They were "testing" the vah shir's tolerance level, until one of the many commanders of the shissar said that they should proceed to turn him into a demi god. With this happening he started to show more an more signs that this expirment was turning for the worse. When one of the commanders said that they should cease, they ignored his warning an continued to try the transformation while they were proforming it he had broken from his entrapment an slaughtered many of the shissar.
As he escaped he began to wander the forests of the grimling until he stumbled upon the caves, there he had donated his power away to the grimlings as like said once before this they had seen him as a god.
With this being said the vah shir had no idea where their beloved adventurer had vanished to, since there was no sign of where he could of been all they had known was that he was gone an hadn't returned back to the mighty city. So in his honor they made the beastlord order or the khati sha which was named after him (DUH!) anyways for those before who always used to wonder what those lore books were about from AC an SSra well now you kno its for prolly one of the best items i have seen in this game, he also drops the hardest book to get, 1 in ac 2 in ssra an one from him in his DEEEEEEEEEP lair.

An since myself am abit confused to how supposedly you are supposed to clear this quest (invlolves saving the captured vah shir down in the inner part of ac which gives a key to unlock that floor panel in the throne room) i believe ALL mobs below this panel are all 62+ with most being around 63-65. An they drop beyond Ntov armor, i seen some greaves that were like ac49 an TONS of stats for plate classes "grimling warlord greaves" or some ****.
with that i hope its as accurate as i think it is, i have been absent from eq cuz of RL stuff....

Unless he quads 1k+ and AE's deathtouch he shouldn't be that much trouble for a guild (and yes, probably 75ppl in a full raid for AC) can clear AC to him...

Separate event, though you must clear the Jail (Wards of Life/Death) to get to him.

MHB on Tribunal is very close to getting TO the Twisted.
Killing the Ward of Death and Life opens the trap door beneath the Warlords room. The next door is held closed by the "Ward of the Final Seal" called the Ward of Spirits I assume.
The grimling prisoner quest and the ring of fire both are broken. The Ward quest is not broken, although on some servers I've seen reports of bugs.
I do have a few screen shots of the mobs leading up to the final encounter. If anyone has any ideas or information on successfully completing this event I'd be happy to exchange info.

The shattered seal pieces dropping in ssra explain how to trigger te cursed cycle event in Ssra. Identify the pieces and you will see what I mean.

Has anyone fought and beaten this mob? My guild would like to take him on but I haven't been able to find info on what this mob hits for, AE's it uses or spells / curses that it casts. Also is there a way to spawn this mob or is it on a timer like other boss mobs? Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

I play on a PvP server, and other than bazaar, PoK, or the rare newbie zone, I have never been in a zone with 75 people TOTAL. I understand the point you were making, Smokey, it just shocked me. Sullon Zek is the only server i ever played on past lvl 20, so i'm used to less crowding I guess.

I'm thinking that someone on RN beat him, I could be horribly wrong though. I'll ask some of my friends that made the attempt at him.
