Question... the yaeths pg 26 right... is it only the cook that drops it or can any of the undead in that area, like the ph, drop it also?

I boxed my 56 shd and 59 cleric and took this guy out. Slowed with Willsapper, then proceeded to beat him down, cleric was 35m at end of fight, and she was melee'ng the whole time

Me n' a friend camped the chef ph last night about 10 times... I say the ph cuz thats all that ever spawned was the PH... what's the deal with that... can anyone tell me the ph/mob ratio?

65necro and I as a 56 cleric spanked this guy. We also farm the 4 camps. The chef isn't bad at all. Yes, he does hit for 360ish. But actually easy kill. I'm guessing he had about 15k hp. All you need is a good healer and a tank. Can be easily killed where he spawns without any adds.

I have camped him the last week for 4 hours a day every day, so far i have gotten him to spawn 3-4 times a day a total of 26 spawns out of that i have gotten 19 daggers 4 girdles and 3 words i sell the daggers for 18k and the girdles for 14k not to shabby for a weeks work, i pull the rotting hound, the animated hand and the decayed slavemaster camps while i do this one you should have no stop pulls and if you are lucky enough can set the pull time so they pop back to back, I duo these camps with my 65 pally and my 65 shammy, and I have never encountered a problem, not to mention the xp is decent considering the lvls of the mobs i get about 1% a kill for aa while im there for the duo, my average week at the 4 camp pull is a little over a million PP. so it may not be camed 24/7 but maybe it should.
On my server the dagger has come down to around 8-9k, and is still dropping, mostly because it IS so easy to farm....

Duo'd this guy with a 49 cleric (I am 61 Shaman)... very fun fight. We walked in and he was already up, so a gomdurig for me =)
I just kept stoicism on and still had to get cleric cheal twice.
Had to use Ice nukes and rely on cleric undead nukes to take him out.

just wondering how hard this guy is, what he fights with, etc... how many needed to take him out. Could a 65 shaman and 62 eq/am3 ranger take him ok?

U should be able to solo him, I can easily kill him with 65 magician pet ( pet focus items and summoner boon ) .

Revenant spawn time is about 17 min. So far, I've had 12 revenant spawns, but no chef.

He can also carry one of the steel 1h weaps in his offhand allowing him to quad, and was hitting our SK for up to 346.

spawns upstairs from the 'a cook' / 'a revenant' room. ph is always 'a revenant'.
dropped a 15ac 6str 8wis 8int 4agi 60hps 10svpois 0.8weight belt for me; chain classes. He drops this bs mod dag too so i'd say once ppl figure out how to get to him as easy as I have he will be camped 24 / 7.
Basically the easy way to get to him is;
1) go thru the shop near the iksar golems. you'll know its shop cuz mobs will be named 'a shopkeeper' or 'a store clerk'
2) all the way up to top of shop and out the window
3) go past the 3 highborns on left and go down left hallway.
4) at fork in road hang a right; 90 degree turn.
5) room on right is cook/rev room. / upstairs is an undead cook / ph rev.

Very good loc of his spawning point. But I seriously don't think he will be camp 24/7, due to the fact that he is an ultra rare mob. Spent about 8 to 10hrs killing his PH and God only knows how many PH that is, and still he refuse to spawn.
Helpful hint for those camping him--
Bring a Stopwatch
Bring a Good book to read
and LOTS of Caffine Drinks!
Don't forget a good pillow--and sleep with one eye open! =D--never know when he is gonna spawn, might sometime in Armageddon!

8-10 hours without a spawn is not ultra rare imo....just stupidly uncommon...bad luck maybe?
