In the Tower of Rot: Part of the event involving Lord Kyle Bayle (see this quest entry for the group version and this quest entry for the raid version).
The levelrange must be defenitly wrong, as there are Crusaders, I cant control with Dire Charm. As the spelldatabase tells, that that spell allows Control upon NPCs (Ench) up to Lvl 55, there have to be some above 55. (And there are a few of them!) ... I would only be wrong, if the found Dire Charm (Advanced Dire Charm) isnt the same as the AA-Dire Charm.
Anyone can proof my thoughts upon that?

I was taking a look around and had wrong invis up, guy was feared me, that wasn't bad, but he summooned like a pain. Couldn't get a shot off edgewise. Go with your stuns loaded, you may needed it. I know my corpse did, he was drk to a 63, so he couldn't be 49
Pretty sure 49 is just dark blue to 63 since the level range changes a while back. Good thing about these mobs is they fear a lot, so my pet would tear them up while they were casting pointless spells on me that I resisted every time with 140-ish MR. Harmtouch for 600-700 damage was the only real annoyance.
This fellow feared me before summoning me back. I wasnt so concerned about the crusader, but I WAS concerned about running like a scared chicken beck into rooms that had already repopped...fortunately I didn't draw any aggro when it occurred...WHEW!

65 druid here, this guy was light blue to me, so I rooted and dotted him. Then I got summoned. sigh =( Hit me like a pansy (max hit of 108) but still kinda sucks after the initial harm touch
What this looks like to me is some sort of iksar that had adapted to it's new underwater life. Since the city was placed under the Lake of Ill Omen, perhaps bloodgills and these crusaders are just iksar and goblins who changed because of their climate. Feel free to flame, whatever, just trying to help, buh bye *waves*
Actually there were 5 tribes of the Iksar: the Kylong, Nathsar, Kunzar, Obulus and Jarsath. I suspect the surviving tribe (which players can play) is the Kylong but I'm not 100% sure of that.
What's even weirder is the Sarnak are Iksar/dragon hybrids created by the Shissar overlords before they offended their gods and were struck down by a plague. The Sarnaks and Iksar have been at odds ever since. The froglok slaves also revolted after the Shissar were struck down and they took over Sebilis. Some of the creatures in the PoJ dungeons have some interesting historical tidbits provided you can speak their language.

i think i am correct here but could be wrong...if i remember correctly there are or were 3 factions of the iksar race before they were destroyed..the current one playable now by players and 2 others..this underwater city holds one of the secondary factions..the warrior based one
Yes, 5 tribes... Kunzar,Obulus,Nathasar, Kylong, and Jarsath as Noted Before... From my little Lore reaserch.. Kunzar, Venril Sathir met them and they go boom... Obulus, was destoryed in the siege of Old Sebilis... Nathasar, Not exactly sure, probobly met the same fate as Obulus, Kylong and jarsath i still have yet to find out about =)
