These are also Immune to Harmony and Pacify. :(
It has approx 20k hps, and as other posters have said, immune to movement spells and charm.
It's normally at the EW zone line if someone has spawned them for the 8th Coldain Shawl quest, but not killed them.

I used to hunt in EW all the time, which meant porting into IC and then running to EW. I never saw these wolves before, but now I see them and Kromrif Dire Wolves standing at the EW zone line almost every time I go. Is this a new thing or a fluke or what?

I (57 necro on the rathe) zoned into ic looking to see if storm feather was clear to camp (he was not). When I saw 3 at the zone. Well not knowing much I went got a pet and was ready to try and fear kite(wrong answer). I tried to pull one with snare then i would fd the others off ( thats what i was thinking). So all 3 come running at me full speed. I then try to fear that didn't work they can not be feared. Well i then sicked me pet on them and it split them for me. Pet died and I ran way out then would dot. I kited him along the water and had no adds. Took about 5 mins and never went under 70mana. It was fun and this is just a post for braggring rites :)

No idea how you soloed like that seeing as how they summon. I saw these wolves as a 61 druid I am always looking for something to charm or quad and tried my hand at quading. Well they resisted snare and ran very fast toward me. Tried to root again resisted. I have SOE and still managed to keep ahead and decided to lay a moonfire on one to guesstimate total HP. Well on landing Moonfire I got summoned and went down rather fast depite having over 1k ac. Oh well I will leave these puppys alone while I'm alone.
