He just spawn with 8 Windscorn Shipmates and 1 Windscorn Midshipman... On the Windscorn obviously... Don't know if he can spawn on any ship or not but we were on Windscorn. We started the fight but he despawned along with all his shipmates and his midshipman ( the ones left standing anyway) before we could drop him...

They're both on Windy. The dialouge is:
Captain Bloodblade shouts, 'There is no time to waste I want this ship to be ready for deployment within the hour. All Windscorn crew members are ordered to pick up the last of their supplies from town in final preparantion for this vessel to set sail.'
At which point the a windscorn midshipman critters spawn. Then:
Captain Bloodspear shouts, 'Excellent job crew, I shall retire to my quarters now to make my final navagation checks. Windscorn rides again!'
At which point, (I think), the a windscorn midshipman critters despawn.

I play a level 55 bard and decieded to solo on the Oceancrasher since the Dandolak was taken. I invised until I reached the deck then started kiting. Everything on the main deck agroed. After I killed about 3 or 4 the Captain spawned just where Nayt said he did. On the main deck in front of the doors. So just about dead center of the ship. The Captain shouted about a line of text when he spawned. I know it was heared through the entire zone because other players started showing up asking about the Captain. There were also 3 Enraged Oceancrashers the spawned infront of him. It took a few minutes but I was able to kill all 3 of the enraged while I still had many of the regular mobs chasing me. To my surprise 3 more Enraged spawned right as the last of the first 3 died. Just after this the Captain Agroed then despawned.
My conclution is that the Captain spawns when a random mob is killed on the ship then there is atleast 2 waves of three enraged oceancrashers. The enraged oceancrashers are charmable but I do not know if the captain is.

WAs on ocean the other day and cap was up but couldnt target him but on the boat was alotta extra NPC's Enraged crewmember dont recall the exact name, but anyway my friend and i cleard them and cap attacked us when they all died, dropped a charm called "Golden Iris" was a fairly bad **** mob but for my friend (63mage) and i 62bst wasnt 2 hard 2 kill him hit for 168 with few hp but charm only works during day starts are

Camp Oceancrasher fairly often, have still never seen him. Whats he drop?

There is no ph, he spawns in front of the door on the main deck. When you enter his agro range, 3 more mobs spawn, then you die, unless you have a good group! I was soloing on the boat the first time it happened. Don't know what he drops, haven't taken him down YET!

funny - I was there just last night and saw no CPT in front of the doors on the maindeck. In-fact it was one of those human lady gals.
So you must have walked right up when he was present.
Anyhow, I will keep posting with more information as I learn more. I am camping this boat now and found a good pull spot to be the stairs closest to the enterance. Just got to remember the 20 min spawn of the human lady gal there when pulling so not to have two mobs at once. However, with my group which includes an 44 Enc this is really not an issue.
Hope whatever he drops is good stuff.

Well spent the night there about 4 hours. No Capt spawn and loot was horrible. So I went back to the easy boat Storm. Good loot. Got a couple of BD and D's. Level my cleric. Still no Capt spawned there either. All in time for one Temperance spell to wear off.

Can anyone post his exact location, PH, loot....anything would be helpfull.
I'm going to be on the Oceancrusher now so I'll post here when I find out for sure if thats the captain.
