Since it is the only Dire Charmable pet in the entire zone it will have to suffice. Unlike the other bears in PoStorms, this mob initially cons 'scowls' to everyone. Place holders seem to be any of the other bears in the ocean and forest section.

Max hit is 149 (doubles). Won't dual-wield. Has awful self-regen as well as low HP (a few hits from a giant or frog will have the cub hibernating permanently).

I tested it out by aggro kiting Loroks in the forest section. (Took me well over 10 minutes trying to get it to swim through the canal from the ocean to forest section since the pathing is terrible.) It was actually a very good DPS companion even with it eating a chunk of exp. due to the DC penalty. It saved me a bit of mana since I didn't have to cast as much.

In a group though, it was just a glorified version of a high level BST/NEC pet from the amount of DPS it can deliver. (But any extra DPS against a PoP mob is good.)

Sadly, this is perhaps the worst DC pet compared to the other DCable pets in other various PoP zones. The fact that it won't dual-wield really hurts it. The rarity of this DC pet is ridiculous since no one hunts the PHs. Plus, since the cub scowls at everyone (unlike other DCable pets that initially con indiff in other zones), most people just kill it off since it is a nuisance.

On a side note, it is cute looking when it stands on it's hind legs to look around.

Just small correction. The DC pets in Crypt of Decay (Ruins of Lxavnom) are also aggro to all. Though they are much more common and I believe they all dual wield.

Dire Charmable though has low HP and doesn't last very long against the rest of the mobs there.
