BL Epic has been put on hold for me atm :-( got all my Totems, except this one cause they have made the zone level 90+ atm so its difficult to get the Totem without getting squashed lol x
beware of the fking bear if your soloing, have a friend help ya dps he got tons of hp

Despawned after I successfully killed the spirit but didn't turn in the totem (I couldn't find the corpse and loot from it before it rotted).
achh..
the same hear, some stupid moron killed him again... like the ones who kill always old raid mobs under their level and let the important things for epic and quests rott - somehow some people must compensate what they never get at their level....

Got Totem on 12/31/2009
Scout does not despawn with turn in of seal or success kill of the spirit. confirmed this evening as I was during bstlord epic.
I see Scout Janomin up everytime I zone into Permafrost, he is behind the big boulders,just right of the ladder. I took my bstlord to start her epic, handed in the seal and ran to where the ice giants are, the spirit is a big polar bear, I killed it and ran back to the beginning of the zone where the scout was still up, thus confirming he does not depop at least with the success of looting a totem.

Scout is just inside Permafrost. After zoning in, walk 20-30 ft. and look for some rocks on the right side. Scout is hiding behind the rocks.

2 times this week i went to perma frost to see a necro killing the scout for xp grrrr please leave then alone
Once upon a time, I was on a Vox raid, and some ikky attacked this guy (Why? I have no clue) but instead of him just zoning when people were telling him this guy is for BST epic, and not to kill him, he instead just kept attacking it, and then more joined in, I just wanted to get the raid started, so ofcourse, to speed things up, I attacked him too (sorry) we had about 15-20 people on him (all DPS mind you). And, for his level, he took FOREVER to kill (about 3-4 min.) This guy has INSANE HPs (for his level).
Just wanted to tell this to everyone...not sure why...but I'm sure this will help someone being a jerk and killing an epic NPC

I have received reports that the scout is being killed for fun. Please leave the scout up if you are not doing the BL Epic. They have to wait for the respawn time if you kill the scout.

Anyone know the spawn times for our Epic Scouts? Either someone killed him or did the quest. Cause he wasn't there.

I believe it seems to be a 24 hour spawn rate. This may change depending on if scout was killed, I think they despawn after having seal turned in but no totem because you failed, or you complete it. They may be timer for each case. But, I pretty sure it is 24 hours all around.

I beleive the spawn time on all scouts is 72 hours

You are twits, please grow up and leave other peoples epic NPC's alone. Someday you might want to do you epic and might find an NPC you need killed while you watch.
