These level 46 mobs are placed in these zones for one thing. Dire Charm Pets. If you think a level 46 bat is bad.. try a level 46 frog in PoS that can and does hit for 150 or more. And as a druid I love to have one of these pets in a group for extra damage.

Our Druid gives it some nice weppons and it is buffed as well as the group. Lots of damage! >250 Gin
Yes there are level 46 animals in many high levels zones for the sole purpose of druid DC...they include: Chardok, PoS, PoTorment, HoH, The Grey, PoMishceif, and this thing in PoN
dont forget the lessers in BoT :) Even most of the elemental zones have DC mobs. PoWaters DC mob can also be DC'd by both Chanters and Druids

Don't you all have something better to gripe about than the lvl of a bat? If you don't like it, don't kill it. Some people would like to fight in a zone that gives better exp while being able to survive. Not everyone can get into an uber group to kill the good stuff. If you are gonna complain, make sure it's legit.
