Can confirm these are not perma rooted will get message about it uplifting roots. melee i saw was around 380, root damage was 382 with MR of 209, did not summon but casting range was insane. can take giants as a chamred pet w/haste. Only taken out a few thus far will get back with a better post when i've gotten a few more under my belt.

They will root you with a root spell that does 700 damage, plus nuke you to death. There druids when they finish wasting there mana, then they usually come after you.
Have a proc aoe rain does 700 is resistable can slow em and in general yard trash here is not worth fighting.
Other mobs help out here pretty lame for how nasty stuff hits you for and the exp just stinks.

you say they are permarooted AND don't summon?
that means you can always back out of the fight when you feel like it....and never need to melee it?

These cannot be pulled as they are perma rooted mobs.

This is incorrect information, they may have once been rooted, but no more. They will chase you down and can be pulled.

Can be found almost anywhere around zone in.
if you kill one it seems to respawn only either as a new Wanton or as A Scorned Troendi.
The Wantons are pretty easy:
Casts 2 spells (afaik):
- Winged death, DoT 143HP/tick, 9 ticks duration and
- engorging Roots, root+200 HP dmg
Melee isn't "uber" but still around 500.
Doesn't summon, doesn't enrage.
