NeriakOgre became Neriak Ogre. At some point all factions had spaces added to them. In 1999-2002ish, all faction names did not include spaces.
Dude just jumped out and before I could even switch bandoliers or do anything to prevent a riposte kill, that's what happened.
-650 Neriak Ogre. Dangit.
Curiously though, the others who are on this faction still con me dubiously, this Mrak fellow had it out for me from the get-go.

Did it. Yes I got my faction so high I received the message "Your faction standing with Neriak Ogre could not possibly get any better." Once I got to ally, I counted all my trips and got to 173 - but at one point I thought I missed adding 2 hand-ins when I was called away suddenly. 175 makes a little more sense since if you multiple by the proven 10 points per task, it means 1750 points to max ally ( rather than 1730). This gives us a rather precise span now for factions ( or at least this one faction, but you can extrapolate to others). 3950 points from starting faction to max. So if you started lower, the amount you can go into max is lower. That can be proven by pickiung a faction where you start dubious or apprehensive or even kos and see how far you get when you max. some will max out just barely into ally, some will max out at warmly. Scaled Mystics in Cabilis maxxed at indifferent for me ( I started way KOS). Enjoy the info.
seems I cannot edit at this time. I get "broken link" message. sorry for typos. the faction chart I figured out is not 100% for every faction. some are slightly different. Amiable span is 700 or 800 points. Kindly seems to always be 500 and warmly at 700. Indifferent always 200. I take starting spot at 1 so:
1-200 indifferent
201-900 amiable [ or to 1000]
901 - 1400 kindly [or 1001 - 1500]
1401-2100 warmly [ or 1501-2200]
2101 + ally [ or 2201+]
These point spread have proven to be accurate over 200 different factions. very few amiable spans are 800 ( maybe a dozen) the rest all are 700. The amount required to get to max ally is based upon how low your faction started. if you start indifferent, it may take 1300 more points. if you started at dubious, it may only take 350. sometimes you cannot even make it to ally ( dark elves vs Keeper of the Arts for one). If you start way into scowls, sometimes you cannot get to non kos, sometimes you can get to indifferent only. sometimes you can get way up to kindly.
Why is my chart almost double what others have posted? do the milk hand in to mojax in commonlands. watch your faction go up. 1 milk gives you 1 faction hit. 700 milks gives 700 faction hits. 700 milks gets you from 1 point into amiable to 1 point into kindly. thats why i set my chart where it is. People who have point spreads half of mine count 1 milk as half a point?

yes exact spelling. two words. it has the spece between them. its not NeriakOgre ( or anything else). it is Neriak Ogre. I have continues to do this task and hgave proven to myself at least that this is one of those factions that is 800 point spread to amiable.
Preserved Meat Delivery raises specifically and only "Neriak Ogre" faction. The faction called "Ogre" is not affected by doing this task, nor is any other faction.
Ogre Illusion doesnt affect these few npc's either. collaboration does affect a few. casting collaboration on The Gobbler is not possible, but you can cast on Mrak which affects The Gobbler and Ghrag and Jacker.

Is "Neriak Ogre" the exact spelling of the faction in-game?

Jacker in the Foriegn Quarter is on NeriakOgre faction as well.
He is around lvl 45 and can be a good exp grind while you work. He hits for 113 max and respawns 10 minutes after he is killed. He drops anywhere from 6gp to 9pp. Other than killing him over and over on a rainy day, I can see no other useful purpose for him.

If you kill one Neriak Guard otuside of Neriak and your a ogre..Guess what your now bad faction I lost three levels because I was bound in Neriak Bank..
