Hi, I have a 53 wizzy, Silverbeam. I am trying to locate information regarding my familiar. I was told the after you summon them, if you tell them to go away but the spell still on you benefit by their adds to your stats. Also, I now have Firetree's familiar augment that I can buff him. At level 54 I get an better familiar spell. I am looking for information on why I need to buff him, does not look like I can use him to fight and I wondered if anyone could help me find information on this or other sites on what I can do with my familiar. Thanks for the help

/pet get lost lets u lose the pet and keep the buff up, if the pet gets killed(its happened, rarely) u lose it. the resists and mana regen and manapool additions are all things i value.
