he was taken out because he was part of the sleeper quest he was suppose to be a quest taker to get good faction for sleeper but he was awaken and killed and all that junk sleeper was suppose to be the portal to everquest 2 but they stopped that becaue people killed him... this dragon was to give good faction for sleeper.. no point in having him now that the lore was changed lol

I have spent a bit of time in WW over the last year and a half, including when the zone comes up, and have never seen this dragon on track. She would be hard to miss as she would be near the top of the list sorted by consider value. As for her survivability should she spawn, Esorpa of the Ring is on Ring of Scale faction and her main enemy seems to be players, not other mobs. I don't know what Disciples of Kerafym faction would do to her but it likely didn't kill her instantly in the past. So, I agree this is a graveyard mob until SOE fixes her spawn.

I haven't set eyes on this one since Luclin/PoP era. I make a pass through WW every patch and every server crash and he's never to be found.
With the three factions listed on him I would have to assume he kills himself upon spawning which is why noone has seen him.

Anyone know if this guy still spawns, need him to finish up my pally's 1.0 finally, i solo the one in EJ when i can get him up but still no burnt book yet, and i already got the frost.

Anyone? Must be perma camped if he does still spawn.
I seriously doubt he's camped since most every one of these old school dragons with decent drops spawn with a 12 hour or so randomization. Makes them almost impossible to keep camped since you'd have to be there for 24 hours straight to cover the camp.
That said, I go to WW with a tracker a LOT and I've NEVER seen him. Nor have I met anyone else that has. It's quite possible he doesn't spawn anymore or is just such a ridiculously rare spawn as to almost be non-existant.
Another possibility... earlier posts talk about his faction. He seems to be on a Kerafyrm faction. It's quite possible that when he does pop the other dragons slaughter him fairly quickly. If they didn't do it before then perhaps they 'fixed' his faction so he gets into fights with them like he's supposed to. Which would also explain why the only posts about fighting him are eons old. Either way, I wouldn't count on this guy for any epic pieces...

I've killed him before, but it was a long time ago...like 3 years ago. It was a challange for 22 people, however, we were all level 55-60 with ToV armor sets as our main gear...so, I imagine he is pretty easy for some level 70's. If I remember, he is your typical dragon, just level 65. Exactly like naggy, only harder. Unsure on hps, but fight took like 2 minutes.
We killed him at the entrance to DN, and that was where we always saw him up. He dropped Cloak of Flames I remember, which was a shock to all.

Most likely not. As far as I know, he hits for around 500 and has an AE.

Been trying to track this mob for days now, ran all over zone with my 65 druid. Anyone know the general area? I'm reading that he wanders but where have you seen him? Any info wold help.

Hello all,
Ok.... i waited to long to start my epic proppa and am now 56 so nag/vox are out of the question.. have had a bit of a read and have come to the conclusion that Melalafen is my best chance of getting the burnt Book..
But heres the hard part... where the *(&^*( does he spawn.. is he triggered by other things? is he a roamer? i can get another peeps together to slap him down but need to be able to find him...
Any and all advice would be REALLY REALLY appreaciated..

This really doesn't make sense...It says Disciples of Kerafyrm, then this guy should be suporting the Sleeper. But after killing him, instead of increase other dragon's factions(like the other mob on DoK faction), it will lower CoV and RoS fations(which are supposedly enemies to the Sleeper). They should really make this sensible...

Dispelled my wolf form nuked me for 500 even, then clawed me down the rest of the way, all this on a CR(. He see's invis, and I was KoS right away. I have never killed him, but was KoS. This may however have to do with the fact i was in wolf form.

scale but need the faction to turn it in. I need
to know exactly what faction to raise. Has anyone
killed him and raised faction somehow? Need to
know if he is on RoS faction, since I have already

he's indiff to everyoen to begin with. killing once will make you scowls to him. he lowers disciples of kerafym, claws of veeshan and ring of scale, while raising kromzek. he is not on ring of scale faction.

My 56 bard friend and their group dropped him this weekend. I logged on just after they killed him and lo and behold he dropped a torn, burnt book. I was able to get there and loot it barely in time.
I have not read anywhere that he drops this, so I thought it might be welcome information for those of us who have not yet gotten their epic.

He's on the Disciples of Kerafyrm faction. The only other thing that might be on that faction is the shade of Jaled`Dar in DN, who gives you the sleeper's tomb key.
Killing him once bottoms out the faction at KOS...which might cause a player to be unable to get sleeper's tomb keys--it is not confirmed if Jaled`Dar's Shade is on that faction. Melalafen does drop nagafen's loot table, though.

basicly every dragon in this zone drops a talismon EXEPT this guy

negative.. in fact 99% of Velious dragons are on CoV faction... most Kunark Dragons are RoS. but there are ALWAYS exceptions
and actually Skyfire mobs are not on RoS faction, they are on Minions of Scale faction.. which is, true enough, allied to RoS, and thusly you'll take an RoS faction hit by killing them.. but being Ally with RoS wont help you to run through Skyfire unscathed

He has a 500 damage fire-based AE. He flurries and hits for 500. He is tough.

He also sees invis and he is NOT on Claws of Veeshen faction (I think he is scowls to everybody). Steer clear of this guy.
