If you are KOS in FV (now under new management!) and looking for Clarissa Heartweaver... all the former FV vendors and NPCs have relocated. They are now in the ruins of the Drolvarg fort in the eastern part of the zone. If you have the maps, look for an area across a small bridge as far east as you can go in FV.

The fact that it's a 3 second cast time.

Compare to:
Superior Heal is 4.5 seconds.
Greater Heal is 3.75 seconds.

With this spell you have a quick casting heal to quickly pump some hp's into a person who's hurting.

I use it constantly on the robe type's who don't have many hp's and when they get hurt they need them fast.

Remedy to keep them alive, then switch to a more efficient heal to top off if need be.

Do I use this on a tank? No. Does it work great on a robe wearer like a chanter? Heck Yes.

Ok folks let me introduce all you younger clerics to your NEW HEAL SPELL LINE. The Remedy class heals are considered fast heals. They also have double the range of all other heal spells.

REMEDY: 175 mana to heal 438... Hey check this out 175 x 3 = 525 mana. 438 x 3 = 1314.

SUPERIOR HEAL : 250 mana to heal 583. or you can cast 250 x 2 = 500 mana to heal 583 x 2 = 1166.

When would a young and hot tempered cleric use such a 'suck' spell you might ask.
1. BAD PULL and your group is OVERRUN. Cleric cool as can be.... WHAM ( healing the puller who kept running ) WHAM ( heal that Shaman who was slowing ) WHAM ( Heal that chanter who is still Mesing ).

2. CASTERS who pissed off the mob, just lost SKIN or RUNE Protection are 9 times out of 10 going to run. This is a FACT because they are thinking survival. They are thinking about putting some distance between mob and themselves so they can Root, Snare , Mes , Stun etc.. Anything to save themselves. What a perfect time for a FAST , LONG RANGE , LOW MANA HEAL.

My 63 cleric always has the 51 REMEDY and the 61 SUPERNAL REMEDY memed. which btw has a 1.8 cast time. Cost 400 mana and heals 1450. Now you kick in the 10% bonus on that Lv 51 spell. You will have a nice fast long range heal that is eazy on the pocketbook. Something you can look forward to.

At level 38, doing a hard LDoN assasinate, the enchanter tash'd the named and got massive aggro for it. Not only was I not able to heal in time, but I'm not sure it would've reached far enough even if I had.

This would have been QUITE nice.

Also, if you're too LoM to cast superior heal (and you aren't CHing), but the tank needs a heal NOW, then you can cast this instead.

Sorry my last line above omited SPELL HASTE. You kick in that 10% spell haste on your lv 51 Remedy and you .... Sorry about that. EDIT wouldnt work for me.

It also has double the casting range of the other healing spells, which is handy in some situations.

Actually it's very similar to Chloroblast, lvl 55 Druid/Shaman spell. The only real use I have found for Chloroblast is that since it only takes 3 seconds to cast, you can pump a few hundered HPs into a tank to keep him alive long enough for a 10-second-cast CH to land.

Of course, this is a Cleric spell, so it really only makes sense to use it that way if you have two clerics in a group.
