You can Ilsa Granger in Ruins of Lxanvom and say evidence to get the task. Quest items are not prelootable. Kill Bokon's in the zone, they drop Plain-Looking Scroll's. Loot and this will update this part of the task. Kill Bokon's in the zone, they drop Rolled-Up Scroll's. Loot and this will update this part of the task. Kill Bokon's in the zone, they drop Opened Scroll's. Loot and this will update this part of the task. Kill Bokon's in the zone, they drop Tattered Scroll's. Loot and this will update this part of the task. Kill Bokon's in the zone, they drop Ornate Scroll's. Loot and this will update this part of the task. Kill Bokon's in the zone, they drop Aged Scroll's. Loot and this will update this part of the task. I haven't finished Jerill the Enraged's tasks. She won't talk to me.
These drop with or without the task. Anyone know if pre-looted items count toward completion?

It would be kind of nifty and awesome if they did, but this is EverQuest, as brought to us by Daybreak Games. As a necessary and not entirely surprising result; no, these cannot be prelooted. In fact, in pursuit of a previous task for the same quest-giver, Ilsa Granger (A Note of Hope), you get these types of scrolls as cursor loot; she doesn't want them THEN, and if you still have them by the time you're doing this task, they are LORE and you have to destroy the ones you have already got in order to loot new ones.
If this kind of thing doesn't leave you speechless and impressed, nothing will.
At the very least, when you have the task, a random scroll seems to be a guaranteed on every Bokon, so the (previously useless) random drops on Bokons regardless now means you might get up to two scrolls per Bokon kill ... so you won't be there for too long.
