The doors to Yar'Lir's lair seal shut when Yar'Lir hits 95% health.

Other forms include Yar`Lir the Hurricane`s Eye, Yar`Lir the Mistress of Winds, and Yar`Lir the Matriarch. Whichever form she is killed in will spawn the chest with loot.
Spawns Adds:
In hurricane form, an unstable storm spawn in the perimeter of the room. They cast "Force Quake", a strong hp/mana DoT -- avoid them.
In matriarch form, spawns many of a blizzard seeker. These cannot be avoided.
After she's killed, a chest spawns with additional loot.

While all these AE play a part in the Yar'Lir fight just Icicle Blizzard and Tempest Winds are casted by Yar'Lir herself. The destructive Forcequake is an effect used by the lvl 70 adds "a instable storm".

well I just did this raid..... here is the 3 lines I see when I didnt resist anything...

Your skin shreds as razor icicles rain down from above. You have taken 1650 points of damage.

DoN been released on 02/15/05, Blades of Wrath killed Yar'Lir serverwide first on 02/24/05, so day is correct, but someone screwed up on month and year =)

nice stuff dropped from this mob but before peopls go all crazy and post a buncha stupid stuff can we get the facts ie: how hard does it hit, spells used, amount of people needed. you know the basics

I tried to take a picture on our kill but apparently she turned her back to me the moment I hit the screenshot key :p
PS: Dropped Yarusha, the Storms Fury and Crystallized Glass Staff for us.
PPS: The picture says "Yar'Lir the Living Storm". She changes her name several times during the fight, starting with "YL the Matriarch" cycling through "YL the Living Storm", "YL the Mistress of Winds", "YL the Hurricane's Eye"
PPPS: To answer one of Xirtket questions: This is an instance raid with a maximum number of 54 people. And personally I wouldn't try with less then 45 atm.

I dont get why people are so abusive. See how he posted the question of Feb 28 and then the post above was edited on Mar 1? Isn't it possible that the original poster forgot to put the all/all in the original post then when seeing the "what class?" post fixed it? Why is it on the internet that people are so quick to be A-holes?
