Be on the lookout for Halloween NPCs, items, and quests in game over the next week. Here is the patch message from earlier today:

Spooky spirits and strange mishaps seem to be descending upon Norrath. In addition to familiar Halloween haunts, keep your eyes peeled for Haunted Jack and Spooky Sally with their fiendish holiday treats in your local hometown. There have also been rumors of a strange zombie uprising, an increased bout of lycanthropy, and other creepy encounters rising up within Kithicor Forest. Take care and watch your step! Folks in need of assistance have been taking refuge within the Plane of Knowledge and Crescent Reach.

The festivities kick off tonight at midnight PST and run through the weekend. Happy Halloween!

Players say they still have the lifetap mask from last year. The shield I looted from the Wererabbit says temporary. Doesn't it disappear when you camp? Is it good for the week of the Halloween events then disappear? How long is temporary?

The Skeleton mask * Bone Mask of Horror. The * could be Calcified, Solid, Cracked, Dusty, Hardened, Strenghtened or just Bone Mask of Horror it all depends on your level when you complete the quest given by Zigan Ribshard in PoK. The lifetap mask drops from The Wererabbit it drops:

I have seen candy quests in Steamfront & Kitchor. The earring quest in POK. (A must have imo. +5 regen +15 to Poison/Disease.)I have seen a clicky lifetap mask and the clicky skelly form mask. Kitchor should be your first stop after the earring. Most halloween quests are started there so far.

Pralak The Bone Collecter, Jillian Florantine, and Aragol Gloomflow in Crescent Reach

a wizened hermit, and the toffee apple task in POK ...

anyone else know of any others? any help would be great

Spooky Sally (costumes), Haunted Jack (Candies/drinks), Pralak the Bonecollector (quest) are located by Emissary Tinnvin, at neg40,neg40 in Crescent Reach.

Pralak's quest, when completed, will get you a "Ginormous Jawbreaker" (snack) with +4 Strengh, +5 wisdom, +5 intelligence, +55 HP, +40 mana and +3 each SM and SP.

The quest starts out with killing 10 skellies, with a scythe Pralak gives you.

I have not yet started it.

Name of Quest is Toadstool Suprise it is given by a wizened hermit beside pok main bank i had to loot 11 to get task to complete but it says only 10 toadstools and is all u have to turn in at the end. The Toadstools are ground drops that can be found at random so just be patient.... Dcroakster BERTOX!!

Should of Patch Halloween Event with Last Wednesday's Patch 10/25/06... still a weekbehind WoW... I would assume that they are competing for the same share of the pie? But given players two weekends and 5 work days between the weekends for players to hear about all the events….and maybe..(gasp) More players and even NEW players to the game… Sony you need a new marketing team. Also more time to workout bugs... Instead of a message "Due to unforeseen circumstances"

I dont know but when they say 3 hrs i was hoping it to take just 3 hrs. Whats the deal it went down around 11a.m and is now almost 5:30pm anyone know why its taking so long?
