Lord Prismwing flutters his wings rapidly sending shimmering dust through the air around you. Although he speaks in high pitched chirps you somehow understand his meaning. Hello ______, I am the Count of the Tunarean Drixies. Are you a friend of the Tunarean Court? You say, 'I am a friend of the Tunarean Court.' Lord Prismwing says 'I am in need of some help. One of my heralds was sent to deliver a message to the Othmir in the Cobalt Scar some time ago and has not returned. I fear for his safety, if your travels should lead you in that direction please attempt to find news of my missing herald.' Head to Cobalt Scar and kill a wyvern named Yvolcarn (52nd level warrior type, summons, regular wyverns are his PHs). Loot the Drixie Remains off him. Note that killing him carries the usual Claws of Veeshan faction hits (-CoV, -Yelinak, +Kromzek). Give the remains to Prismwing and receive a Crest of the Drixie. Lord Prismwing says 'This is sad news you have returned to the court, but now his body may be laid to rest in the soil of Tunares land.' Your faction standing with Tunarean Court has been adjusted by 10. You gain experience!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

There is a quest in SS that allows you to raise both Tunarean court and CoV and Yelinak faction. Look up the Emil's Report quest under quests found in SS. It is particulary good for druids since our ability to gate makes things go by much quicker

FYI: Yvolcarn can not be rooted or snared. If you attempt to root or snare Yvolcarn a message appears stating that your target's spead can not be changed. or something to that effect.

anyone know the spawn time on the lord? seems that sence he is blue to most of the people that hunt in WL, they decide that they are going to kill him for loot....no loot, but an over all pain to find him now that everyone is killing him

I know that killing Yvolcarn will give you bad CoV faction, but my question is...
Will you also recieve bad CoV faction for giving Prismwing the drixie remains?
I was able to loot the drixie remains, after someone else killed Yvolcarn. I am also working to build CoV faction, so maybe after a few more nights in Kael it won't matter either way. ;-)

Yvolcarn has random areas he can spawn. ANy common Wyvern can be his PH. I have seen him near the outcropping rock near the SS zone, and also a lot by the dragon circle. Although he can spawn in ANY other wyverns place. He hits a tad bit harder than other wyverns, and his summoning sucks. youll need a good tank and a healer to kill yvolcarn if you want to. a druid snaring/rooting/dotting/nuking always helps too (= I've heard confliciting reports that he does not always drop the drixie remains, but that was long before the patch and was probably changed. hope that helps

Fear and hitting back is quite good too, rogue doing cool damage in this stratics.

Can anyone give a better idea as to where Lord Prismwing spawns? I heard he's been spotted on track near the dragon circle, but I've checked there numerous times and haven't seen him. I did catch Lord Gossimerwing close to Skyshrine last week, but I have yet to see Lord Prismwing at all :(

Spotted him near Skyshrine zone
Doesn't Yvolcarn (or Ycolvarn, whichever it is) give bad dragon faction if you kill him? After all the giants I've killed to raise my Claws of Veeshan faction, its a shame to work against that now.
Also, anyone know of a way to raise faction with the Drixies, without lowering your CoV faction?

^same poster as above^ to get to plane of myschief you have to fight through ToV, i dunno if you lose faction by killing the dragons there but you gonna have to kill dragons for lewt some time or another, and faction isnt THAT hard to change, do the foraging part first, then you will know what time wasted is!
When you slay Yvolcarn these are the faction adjustments:

I am disappointed. This is a step backward for those of us pursuing the Skyshrine factions.

As far as I know the drixies are on the Tunarean Court faction as are the rest of the mobs in this quest line. If you are only interested in raising faction with Tunarean Court then do some of the other quests that don't hurt your dragon faction. If you want to finish the quest and get the "brass ring" at the end, I'm afraid you will take that one hit to your dragon faction. I can tell you that I was dubious before killing Ycolvarn, and I was dubious after, so it must not be a major hit.

Which quests are you referring to, that would raise that faction without hurting CoV faction?

You don't need an open inventory slot, just a container capable of holding GIANT objects... such as a sewing kit for instance.

It's a subquest for the "Friend of the Tunarean Court" quest, listed on this site.
