I was in the Warrens with my 40th Level Cleric the past couple of nights pulling trains and knocking them all down with "Word of Souls" for faction. Anyway, got bored with knocking out 20-30 kobolds at a time and decided to hunt the rares for their lewtz;O). I got to this tadpole and conned him...found he was indifferent green, so I says to myself "Time to take greenie down." Start with instill, hit with Wrath multiple times, he breaks free and hits me for 70-75 double attack. Whoa, tough greenie! Instill once again and continue with Wrath till he dies. Whew, that was almost embarrassing. Loot him and get a potion of light healing and an awesome fishing pole(till I find it is no-drop Magician only!) Anyhow, take him 3 more times, each time he seems progressively harder...the last time I had to gate because I was 20m and he didn't even lose half life! Anyhow, in a nutshell, here is some things to remember:
1. filthy rats and diseased kobolds aggro regardless of level. Take them down quick or deal with extra hits and spell interrupts.
2. Hypothesis - he seems to get progressively harder with each fight, if you try to farm from him. Worthless anyway, since the lewtz, with exception to the potions, are no-drop.
3. His faction, even after taking him down 3 times, stays indifferent.
4. He hits hard for his level(
5. When you get him below one bubble of health, he trys to run, but glitches and stays in the same place when he gets to the room entryway, jumping up and down. Save root and snare when he gets to this point, just keep hittin him)
6. He dropped one potion each time I killed him...mostly light healing but one 1 charge invis potion.
Hope this information helps all you aspiring tadpole hunters out there)
