Can anyone tell me the difference between Draught of Thunder and Draught of Lightning? Is it worth while turning in my Draught of Thunder and Lightning Sphere to get a spell that is so similar?
Draught of Thunder includes a 0-duration stun component, Draught of Lightning does not. That means that DoT is great for interrupting enemy spellcasters, but it also draws more aggro than DoL.

Draught of Thunder is one of the top 5 spells in my spellbook. It is low mana and can be chain cast to prevent CHeal and Gate of mobs. You wont get aggro unless your tank is weak.

Make sure you get the Lightning sphere from the west camp off Kreiger not the gem which drops off any mob in that camp. He doesn't drop it every time either, took a few kills tonight to get one.

The Lightning sphere is for the Draught of Lightning quest.
