Just hit 30 was all excited untill I watched my AC go up 2 yes 2 points. Wow all that mana for 2 AC! I am sure it goes up as I level but seriously folks if you think I will be using my precious mana for -6 AC on mob and +3 AC on me well you got another thing coming :)

This spell can be found in the Plane of Knowledge in the library. Look for Reaver Praden on the bottom floor in one of the two little 'evil' areas off of the main room.

AC taps used to be a super aggro taunt, which almost made this spell effective enough to have memmed but recent changes have caused this spell to generate almost nil aggro, and the cast cost is too high for 6 friggin ac, so this spell like so many others sits at the back of hte book

Hello from 9 years in the future!

Yes, as of 2012 this spell still stinks. After playing around with this spell the level 11 spell Clinging Darkness is still superior to aggro management in everyway.

Granted it does drain the target for 6 ac, which it turn allows you to do a bit more damage to the mob, but as it stands .. its just not worth the mana cost to put this spell on your bar.
