Be warned that currently you are unable to complete this mission as looting the Ruined Dragon Eggs does not register. I looted 19, not still had 0/10 according to the task log. The last step never appeared. Petitioned.
Norrath's Keepers: Dragon's Egg

It is a group mission (3-6 players) that begins with Gordish Frozenheart (click for map image) in the Norrath's Keepers camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting: - Minimum Level 63 - Minimum "indifferent" faction with Norrath's Keepers Hail him to get a quest selection window pop-up. You have been assigned the task 'Dragon's Egg'. With all the destruction that Norrathians are causing in these new lands, some of us are worried about the dragon young. It seems unlikely that many of their eggs will remain safe and we feel guilty about their destruction at the hands of fellow adventurers. Please rescue one dragon egg and bring it to us. We will nurture it and keep it safe. Note: This group mission scales to your group's level. The highest is 68+, outlined here. 
Touch the portal to the Nest 0/1 (The Broodlands) The entrance is the dragon portal in the far northeastern part of the Broodlands. Explore the eastern desert hatchery and locate the eggs 0/1 (The Accursed Nest) This step updates near 1550, -150, -173 (this is the easternmost room of the northernmost wing). A named golem ("Earthtouch Guardian") stands at the entrance to the cave. It isn't an essential kill, but it hits for a max ~1,400; has ~46,000 hitpoints; and is stunnable and mezzable. Explore the north western desert hatchery and locate the eggs 0/1 (The Accursed Nest) This step updates near 2300, 1500, -354 (in the northwesternmost room of the same wing). Another "Earthtouch Guardian" is in this area. Loot 10 Ruined Dragon Egg 0/10 (The Accursed Nest) The eggs are a common drop from mobs in the area. Speak with Tatsujiro the Serene 0/1 (Lavastorm Mountains) You say, 'Hail, Tatsujiro the Serene' How horrible! You mean that there aren't any living eggs in that nest at all! Oh, my. That certainly doesn't ease my feelings of guilt any, but you tried your best. We'll probably keep looking anyway, just in case. Thank you for your help. As of October 13th 2011 the task completed without problem for me, and all the eggs updated the task successfully.
