Norrath's Keepers

The Bind Affinity idea works well, but you cannot bind at the Wayfarer camp outdside; only at one of the camps within the caves.

Quick tip for helping those trying to raise their faction through doing the wayfarer quests.

For working up my faction in order to get started with my progression on the good side I did just this; which made my faction grinding time 100 times quicker. Make sure to have your bind point set to the wayfarer camp inside lavastorm. You'll want to have your bind point at Elanye since she is the one you'll be doing all the quests with. Next, have a fellowship set up and either gather 2 friends (3 total including yourself) or box two toons for your fellowship in order to lay a campfire inside Stillmoon Temple.

Now when you receive the quest (And only the quest) Goblin broth..accept it. Campfire into Stillmoon temple (using the campfire warp) and kill off your mobs and loot the 7 meat. Once finished "gate" back to your bind point at the wayfarer camp and get the same quest again and rinse repeat.

KEEP IN MIND THAT SOMETIMES ELANYE WILL OFFER YOU "Blood of the winged". Do not accept it. Just hit esc and eventually ELANYE will offer you Goblin broth again and rinse repeat. Was very quick faction grind.

Can't kill these npc's.

Calling Emoush is a tier 2 quest that requires amiable faction to obtain quest.

Did approximately 25 neutral missions and killed two of the guards and got to apprehensive with Norrath's Keepers.

As a evil dark elf lvl 75 necro I started out KoS to Keepers.

I have done 36 tasks and 10 or so token handins and I have moved from KoS to Dubious for Keepers and Threatenly to the dark reign.

The first post is inaccruate in that there are lots of drakes in the north east part of the zone. I just put pet on hold and run to the start and FD. Killing them is easy with tank pet. I can kill two and three at a time.

I am about to give up. Its simply cheaper to sell rk II spells, buy crystals, and get the augs I desire.

As a necro, I made the mistake of changing faction to Keeper's since the majority of players were good... (I had done all the progression before on my bard on keepers and never once did a DR mission). Sheesh, it was quite a time sink to get the faction.

16 Tasks (Silks, Blood of the Winged, etc)
7 Tokens from missions
6 DR Guards

I was told it takes 30 tasks or tokens to get faction to indifferent if you haven't done ANY factioning yet. It also seems that the faction hits from the guards are very small as opposed to the tasks and missions. They are a royal pain anyway.. there are only 5 or 6 of them and they take 30 mins to respawn. They have ridiculous hp, summon and are quite tough to solo. Your time is best spent on tasks.

At lvl 70, this was easy work, but just way too long. If you make the mistake of doing it tho.. I suggest doing the spider silks in Lavaspinners. Its the best one due to the fact that there are plenty of spiders and the zone is usually empty. Blood of the Winged would be good, but there are only 5-6 drakes there and they take 20 mins or so to reapawn. The tasks in Stillmoon are easy, but if there are other people there, it takes a while and its annoying to share the mobs..

I have the same problem. I play as an ikar beastlord (lvl 69) I have done at least 25 DON adventures and handed in the tokens. I have done about 3 solo missions and am still threatening. I haven't killed any dark reign guards yet but am considering it now as I would like to get on with the Norrath keeper's don progression quests.

They make it far too much work for us Iksars to get good faction. It's bad enough that my partner is a ll 70 cleric already with double my aa's due to to my XP penalty.

As Mentioned below the requirements seem insane to sitch sides.

As an Iksar I have now done

25 Tasks from the neutral camp trying to gain faction with the Norrath Keepers and have 83 faction hits from killing guards of the dark reign and am stuck at dubious still with the Norrath keepers and they will not accept the tokens and I am threateningly to the dark reign.

To do quests/tasks from the folks inside the caves you need to get to indifferent faction first. The simplest way is to get quest from the camp outside the caves. When you get them at the camp pay attention to which NPC you go to as 2 of them pass out Norrath Keeper tasks and 2 others hand out Dark Reign tasks. In addition you get faction from killing the guards from the opposing camp, but at 52 that is prolly not doable on your own, though you should be able to get faction hits tagging guards once while someone else is killing them
