Great way to raise your Deepwater Knight faction.

Yes, he and the prophets are for getting good faction throughout Erudin. My level 11 Mage soloed him without a pet, so I would expect a mage of 8+ with a pet could take him easy.

This guy isn't the ONLY way to gain faction. Killing Heretic Prophets will also raise DW Knight faction, but they are fairly rare.

Killing this guy is the only way to get your DW Knight faction above dubious. Once you have killed him enough times, you can do some of the DW Knight quests.

I was soon hopeing to do the bracer of ro quests, i need to improve my deepwater knight faction, is killing this guy the only way? Any suggestions on how top raise this faction and on this guys spawn rate is appreciated
You can turn in Kobold Molars (from The Warrens) to the paladin on the left in the Prexus Temple courtyard in Erudin. I have gotten mine to amiable this way (woodelf ranger), but I think it may have stalled - and the guildmaster wont give me the Barnacle BP quest yet. Any advice on the required faction to get the Barncale BP quest?
I am also doing the Nickled Coin and Pearl of Odus questlets in the Harbor for this faction. Perhaps this will help...

what are black gate caller gloves?
By giving 2 summoned daggers, and I think 2 summoned bread you will recieve a pair of gatecaller gloves.

Good with all og the Erudite maic guilds, the paladins, bad with heretics
this guy gives very nice faction, had to kill him alot, but brought me from dubious to amiable so i could do the Barnacal Breastplate quest with my shaman.

This guy can be a pain in the ********* you arent high enough level. Id say at least level 8 to be on the safe side. The reason for this is that he casts a fear spell and if you dont know your surroundings you might find yourself dead somewhere in toxx forest and you have no idea where you died...just be careful. And yes...hes a sissie when it comes to melee, so is his pet.

Kill him ten times and non-erudite magigians can get the funky black gate caller gloves. Otherwise you can't do quest because of faction.
