if you don't engaged this form right away, he disappears...I solo'd the first form (lvl 51 pally) and took out a guard, then the undead form despawned :( have to wait 4 hours to try again...grrr

Assisted a guildie in killing this guy the other day for paladin epic. Needless to say this skelly popping out of Sir Lucan was quite a suprise. I am sure there is an interesting story behind this.

2 years late but yea, Lucan D'Lere isn't really "Alive" in the true sense of the word. The armor he wears is a burial shroud, Lucan's a Lich, has been since the War of Tears (The Knights of Truth talk about it, when the Knights went to fight a great battle in the Ocean of Tears they left Lucan in charge of the City. He formed a Militia and instituted Martial Law) at least. Probably before that. Because he's a Lich it's generally assumed the worships Innoruuk (Inny is the only Deity with the secrets of Lichdom. Venril Sathir made a deal with Innoruuk for the same secrets as did Miragul.)
