I know the book doesn't drop anymore. Any old timers still have one of these in the bank as a collectible they would sell? Xegony server preferred.
Does ANYONE know if this dropped off the warders? OR if it still drops and off what mob? I am very curious

Yes this dropped off the old Warders. They are still alive on my server and we saw three of these drop today.

I see people talking about "closed" and "open" books, what is the difference? Is it whether you have to right click to read it like tradeskill books and notes? Sounds to me that is what it means.

It is simply how it looks when equipped, if it is an open book or a closed one. :)

I just bought this book of a guildie and It is cool. Yea it is closed but I could care less. Still has all the quality wisdom and mana that I need 15k a killer deal.
Closed books looks better in my eyes...

ok well sitting in EC selling my stuff this 13 warrior (obviously alt) shout selling UBER caster item so me being 53 Heretic say lemme see this UBER item and BAM there is was in all its glory I was like wow too bad close book look or I would try to save up for that :).

Do me a favor... Take a screenshot with some item's stats like this. Then turn the bitmap file into a jpg file... THAT is how you get the words to look like that. If it was a fake, do you really think the person making it would be dumb enough to leave the effect blank? Now Verant on the other hand...

This is one of the few casters items that came out of Sleeper's Tomb while we were there. The stats on it aren't really applicable for most high level casters to use it over epics, and the effect is bugged.
Also: Yes it is Primary slot only. I like to think of this is Kendrick's sick caster joke when you compare this "primary" slot item with the absolutely fantastic "primary" slot melee weapons he put into Sleeper's.

Its fake because it is a Primary slot item with no attack damage or delay...you cannot hold a non-weapon melee item in your primary slot only...it would have to be secondary and primary to be legit.

Another example - my druid is carrying around the prophecy scroll in her primary slot (only place it will go). About the only thing I could do to a mob with that is a very serious paper cut.

Ceremonial Wedding Sword, drops in Tower of Frozen Shadow in EW, primary only, no melee stats at all- not a weapon )

since when have primary hand items been required to have attack or damage statistics? Ever seen the glowing black stone? Stein of Mogguk? several book type items you can hold in primary as well (black tome with silver runes) etc. Before you speak with certainty try being correct first.

Because JPG compression does that, look at the other six thousand images on this site and you'll see the same. The fact that its a larger image doesn't mean that will go away, just not as bad. This is real :)

It is that way due tostarting life as an inferior bmp and having been scaled up it loses resolution causethe pixels arent there to have the larger size so thay are guessed in by the software used to enlarge it. Also i have seen other not fake items which have the effect bit there and no effect
