|Certain "Noble Exchange" vendors will give hints as to there current whereabouts of the "Rare Items" merchant Marcia Attamilgad. Those in the Bazaar and the Plane of Knowledge don't seem to help, but if you speak with those in Wayfarer camps, they'll be more forthcoming with information:
You say, 'Hail, Karoline'
Karoline says 'Hello, _____. Here to do some [trading], or were you looking for my friend [Marcia]? You never know [where] she'll turn up.'
You say, 'Trading?'
Karoline says 'I'm happy to exchange [Nobles] for your platinum or gold pieces if you wish.'
You say, 'Nobles?'
Karoline says 'Well, that's what we call them, anyway. Surely you must be a noble to have that much money!'
You say, 'Who is Marcia?'
Karoline says 'Marcia Attamilgad, of course. She's a somewhat shady swashbuckler who seems to be able to get her hands on a new item every time she shows up. She charges a lot, and she never has very much stock on hand, but she claims she's the only person on Norrath who can find what she sells. She [travels] around a lot. Always on the move, that one.'
You say, 'She travels? Where?'
Karoline says 'Marcia was here not too long ago. She was saying she might go to _____ or maybe _____.'
Check the zones suggested. Wherever she is, Marcia Attamilgad will always be on the Find feature (CTRL+F). If you don't see her on Find, then she's not in the zone.
Marcia Attamilgad is an adventure merchant and only deals with the Noble currency. Since her inventory is small and fleeting, you'll often find her empty. If you catch her at the right time, though, you may find some exceptionally rare items available for very, very high prices.
You say, 'Hail, Marcia Attamilgad'
Marcia Attamilgad says 'Hi, my name is... Well, as far as YOU know, my name is Marcia Attamilgad. I [travel] a lot, and sometimes I find a [few] [rare items] that you might be interested in. If I don't have what you want today, find me [tomorrow].'
You say, 'What rare items?'
Marcia Attamilgad says 'Well, you know how it is. Travel around enough, meet enough people, you start finding out who has things, and how much they are. I've got leads on quite a [few] items that I guarantee no one else will have. If you can pay the [price], you're welcome to have one.'
You say, 'Just a few?'
Marcia Attamilgad says 'I never have many of these things. I don't carry my whole inventory around at once like some people do. If something's especially rare, I usually can just get my hands on one at a time. Once I've made a sale like that, though, I don't have to worry about finding something else to sell until I [move] on.'
You say, 'What about the price?'
Marcia Attamilgad says 'I'll be frank with you. This stuff costs a lot to get. If you want it you'll have to make it worth my while, and my time is worth a lot.'
You say, 'Why move on?'
Marcia Attamilgad says 'I always said I was going to travel, and now that I'm grown that's my plan. Never see the sun rise from the same place twice in a row.'
You say, 'Where will you be tomorrow?'
Marcia Attamilgad says 'Tomorrow? I don't know where I'll be yet. I'll be there when I wake up, and I'll have something else to sell from my stash.'
