The reason they did the spells they way they did...is because they dont want people getting all the good spells, and then not completing their line-up. So, to get the good ones, you have to get the not-so-good ones.
As far as this spell in particular, I like being able to give my pet 270 extra hp via summoned jewelry, but i dont like to have to summon each item individually. So, i like this spell.

Anybody know if you have to give the items to pet individually? Or by any chance can you just hand him the bag?
You must hand the items to your pet one at a time (or 4 really). It will not take the items out of the bag and equip them if you just hand it the bagfull of items.
Is there any reason to have a spell that summons the same items we can summon two levels sooner and just to get them all at once? Is this really worth a rune and if so, is it worth one in the middle of the new spells? Even if the new fire pet isn't an improvement over the past ones, surely the new 68 DS will be useful. So why does this spell come before it?
