The recipe has changed. It is now in a Mixing Bowl. Be sure you are using the one with EB clickie, as opposed to the "Cloud" clickie. Trivial is 15.

I just did this combine with my ranger, using a collapsed mixing bowl, no probs
I tried the combine with Mortar and Pestle on my 75 main rogue (skill 300 poison) and it wouldnt allow me to combine. No cannot combine message just th inability to use the combine button.
I did however try the mixing bowl and it worked.

Thanks for the tip. I had the same issue with the "combine" button not showing up on the Mortar And Pestle, so I tried the mixing bowl and it worked.

The Mortar & Pestle combine appears to have changed, I just did this stage on my Chanter for the shawl quest and it did nothing, not even a "cannot combine in this container type", I passed it off to a rogue and was able to have it made, thankfully it wasn't no trade ! I believe this might have changed along with the Toolbox/Gnome combine change on recharge kits.
if so, it sucks making an All/All Quest without warning that the combine cannot be made by those who don't normally use a Mortar & Pestle, though Rogues and Shamans should be fine.

Nope Shaman's aren't fine either.
I believe (and someone should confirm) that most non-poison combines formerly craftable in Mortar and Pestle are now craftable by all classes in a Mixing Bowl. Rogues can use either container for such combines.
