70k?!
# Jun 14 2006 at 10:31 AM Rating: Decent
Ok do these people lose perspective or what? This is a BAG. Selling/buying this for 70k is rediculous. Save your money and buy better gear if you have much of a weight issue. The tailoring trivial is no excuse. I can think of a lot of items with over 300 trivials and rare components that sell for less.

whomever tries to get 70k for it has to be smoking something.
Especially when there are tinker bags for 5200 off a merchant, and player made with the same stats for 5k.

Not true, tink bags weight 1 stone one these weigh .1 stone, which is a world of difference to a monk. Worth more than a tink bag? yes. Worth 70k? definately not in my opinion.

My brain hurts.

Leatherfoot= .6 weight, all other stats same, cost 5k.

This, .1 weight, all other stats the same, cost 40-70k... So... that .5 weight difference is worth 35-65k?

Could someone clear this up for me? I realise the monk weight penalty, but seriously, 35-65k MORE just for .5 per bag?

Dunno. I'd never pay that much for one, much less try to fill up on them. I could be induced to pay 15k, but that would be it.
Trivial

295 trivial for the bag.
Not 229.

Need someone to check the information
# Jan 30 2003 at 4:08 PM Rating: Excellent
The information and recipe may not be correct. I need to go back to the maze now that they've increased the drop rate to make one myself, but EQTraders lists different stats.

According to EQTraders, this recipe requires 2 hardened tae ew hides, and the resulting sack does hold giant items.

Are there 2 versions of the sack, one that holds extra large items and uses one hide, and the other that holds giant items and uses 2 hides? Can a Cazic-Thule tailor confirm?

RE: wrong

ok, then check out the bag of the tinkerers, pic says giant slots, alla lists as extra large or smaller, therefore, extra large = giant.

For further explanation, there are 5 sizes:
tiny
small
medium
large
giant(extra large).

This item's advantage over the tinker's bag,

https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2366

is that it's 0.1 stone vs 1.0, I don't think that that 0.9 stone is enough to charge 24k for. I'd say that 6k or so would be reasonable for this bag, and that's only for monks. Non-monks should never even consider this bag unless it's selling for less than the 5k that you'll be charged for a tink.

Otherwise, just get your butt to Sol A and buy one.
Nice

This is a very nice bag for any class, but shouldnt go for more than a few k more than dragon bags

It is real....
# Jan 28 2003 at 9:07 PM Rating: Default
www.EQTraders.com then look under the Cazic Thul section. It's tailored with over 250 skill. Now that the blood drop rate is increased you might see one for sale, for 30kpp. This is a Monk's DREAM. Hell, even me as a Ranger want a few.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 29 2003 at 8:41 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Shouldn't go for more than what Dragon Bags or Halfer sacks go for as its no better.
RE: It is real....
# Jan 29 2003 at 7:50 PM Rating: Default
Leatherfoot haversacks are 6x the weight of this.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 29 2003 at 9:03 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Aren't dragon bags able to carry Giant sized items? If so, then the TaeEw bags are slightly inferior in that reguard, being able to only hold extra large. But not being lore items, you can have more than one TaeEw bag, and the base weight is to die for. I think a lot of monks are going to want to head into CT now...
