If you're after these for the egg oil/fleeting quiver then I'd suggest Blightfire Moors griffon mesa. It's north central in the zone, and the griffons drop feathers as well. One clear is enough for several quivers worth of bird parts.

Cancel that, these are griffon eggs, aviak eggs are needed. (duh)

You still need the feathers for the Fleeting Quiver, plus the meat and eggs that drop off of the griffons are used in other hard to make or find recipes, such as the beginner baker test, need Griffon Meat to make the Hearty Meat Sauce, I think that's what it's called. It's the one where you need Griffon or Anaconda Meat, both hard to find nowadays. But the feathers are needed for both the Fleeting Quiver, and the Prescient Fleeting Quiver. One for the Fleeting, but you need 2 Feathers for the Prescient.

I forage these in BBM on the progression servers as well. The higher the foraging skill, the more likely you get them. At 100 skill, my wifes druid got 3 eggs in the same time I got 20 eggs (190 skill).

I noticed that they drop in BB but where? Do they drop off any mobs or do they have to be foraged? Thx!

Makes Dough Too
# Mar 23 2003 at 10:25 AM Rating: Decent
I also found you can make Clump of Dough with Aviak Eggs (not sure if the "s" makes a difference or not?). It does combine with a Bottle of Milk and a Cup of Flour in a Mixing Bowl. However it produces 5 Clumps of Dough instead of the normal 1 as per other receipies using for instance snake eggs.

Just to note here as well, this is used in Aviak Egg oil(used for fleeting quiver) and can also be baked into dough, though people generally just use basilisk eggs for dough then they are easy to get and have such a high yield.
