This spell sells for about 3k (dont pay more than that) on Fen Ro, but that will be easier than farming parchements or runes.

This will be the spell you pull with. Even some of our higher level dots dont last this long...plenty of time to med before you need to refresh snare...finally we have what level 20 druids are use to /smile .

Where do I find it?

So where does it drop or is is the result of turning more parchments?

Resistance?
# Jan 17 2003 at 9:05 AM Rating: Good
This spell sounds wonderful but so did Cascading Darkness til I found out it was resisted prolly more than 60% of the time. How often is this spell resisted compared to the lvl 29 Dooming Darkness. I am lvl 61 and still use DD as my snare in the Planes and on the Moon.

Not resisted too bad. Been playing my bro's necro in HoH and PoV, and its great. Keep yourself SoWed for when they do resist.
nice

ive used Dooming Darkness as my snare of choice since 29. i used epic a lot in luclin, but with PoP things just run too fast and hit too hard to risk a resist on a spell that takes 9 seconds to cast (epic) or requires buttloads of mana (Cascading/Devouring Darkness). i can make up damage in dots and pet hits that i forego in useing a lower level snare.

not only does this spell cast faster than dooming darkness, and does a decent punch of damage, but it LASTS for two minutes. my epic doesnt even last but 1'36'', and snare length has always been the shortcoming of the solo necro. always having to refresh snare. dumping mana when its resisted, running for your life if you cnat get it resnared in time. this spell is an upgrade in every way, thank you Veran.. err SOE.
