By right clicking on the proc effect in the songs window, the following ingame description came up. Absorbs up to 627 damage from the next three attacks.

If I understand the wording right, this is an upgrade to the previous "skin" lines. And rkII absorbs a bit more then the rkI.

What is the difference between the ranks of this spell, other than the mana cost? The proc is the same, the rate is the same, the cost is more for furthered ranks... /boggle
