Silla Herald

OK, the only quests I have ever done here are the Progression required ones until now.
That being said I did those back when SoD went live. I recently returned here to do faction in order to get RKII spells for my cleric. With only the prog. required tasks and missions done I was at Dubious with Silla Herald.
Now ,with the exception of the required ones for progression (done many moons ago) I chose "faction" on all quest rewards,and I am only at Kindly, this includes the hundred or so mobs killed with faction hits during these quests.

So with a total of 22 quests done and hundred or more mobs killed with positive faction hits, I am depressed to say I will be repeating some of these tasks to get to ALLY, you only need warmly to get spells but I think I'm gonna get the chest Emblem of blood that requires Ally, then I hope i will never have to return here, lol, except to get spells for guildy's and alts. With all this being said I would say Silla Herald is a PITA faction and if your looking to get to Ally then plan on repeating some tasks or killing hundreds more mobs to get it. If your planning ripping ALLY out in short time, think again.

These four tasks for Silla faction can be completed in less than one hour for multi-box players. Respawn is a pain for multi-boxers but all these tasks can be done without waiting too much.

1. Captain Agresin -"Aid", kill 10 in Old Commonlands, make sure each char does damage.
2. Diennic Lightheart - "Know", hit your checkpoints and make sure each char does damage.
3. Armsmaster Vohlen - "Go", hit your checkpoints and loot your maps. You have 5 mobs available to loot at least one. fairly common drop.
4. Supplymaster Kibrek - "Help", hit your checkpoints then loot the bags. This is the only tasks that may require respawn wait time so I would hit this first for one char, then do Diennic's task and then come back here to loot more to avoid having to wait for respawn.

I dont see a magician spell listed but othe places says you bolt of molten bolt of molten scoria rk. ii here can anyone verify this?

To get the faction quests, you need to get and equip the Army of Light Pendant or the Army of Obliteration Medallion. These can be obtained simply by doing hails via the quest Align Yourself with Kithicor's Armies.

You can get both necklaces and do quests for both sides (they all raise Silla Herald faction). Be careful of where you equip the necklaces though, because they can make mobs of opposite faction kos.

what necklace?

To rise this faction, chain do every 6 hours theses 4 tasks:


- "Scourge of supply", Kibrek, very easy and very fast.

0) Say "Help" to Kibrek.
1) Go outside houses near camp until you get update.
2) Go corpse.
3) Pick up the 5 bags.
4) Hail Kibrek.
5) Give him the 5 bags.

- "Shadows of Kithicor", Diennic, easy and fast.

0) Say "Know" to Diennic.
1) Hail Vohlen.
2) Go to the 2 camps in extreme NE.
3) Go to Laarthik camp.
4) Kill 5 sentinels near Laarthik camp.
5) Hail Diennic.

- "Charges of treason", Lord Tephys, medium and fast.

0) Say "attend" to Tephys.
1) Hail Firiona
2) Go near lake.
3) Enter the house.
4) Hail the girl.
5) Open the chest ( target then /open ).
6) Loot the key only.
7) Kill the guy ( others mobs dont assist him )
8) Loot the note on the guy.
9) Go to the SE part of lake.
10) Open chest ( target then /open ).
11) Loot orb.
12) Give orb to Firiona.
12b) Destroy key + note.

- "Destroy the impostor", Laarthik, medium+ and fast.

0) Say "deed" to Laarthik.
1) Hail Laarthik.
2) Hail Lanys.
3) Go to Avatar of Aridane.
4) Hail Avatar or Aridane ( dont forget this "hail" ).
5) He dont attack but is ready to be killed, kill him !
6) Aridane pops just after Avatar dies, He dont attack but buffs himself. kill Aridane.
7) Loot amulet.
8) Give amulet to Lanys.

Use Mapfiend maps to locate NPCs.

Dont forget the factions modifiers necklaces ( only needed for pick up the tasks ).

The rest of time, do others BK tasks for Void progression or "blood of the fallen".

I didnt count but I estimate that 2 rounds + some work on others tasks + faction kills = 1 faction advancement step.
