|Say force to Praetor Garly in Frontier Mountains to trigger the raid. The person triggering must have the Partisan of The Temple of Droga achievement done.
You say, 'Hail, Praetor Garly'
Praetor Garly says, 'Hello. You may want to talk to my associates, you probably aren't skilled enough for me to be able to put to work. I can only use the very best for what [I need].'
You say, 'I need'
Praetor Garly says, 'If you can find some competent allies, whether only a [few] or perhaps a [larger] number, then perhaps your inadequacies can be overlooked.'
You say, 'larger'
Praetor Garly says, 'Perhaps if you can find a truly strong [force] then I might have need of you.'
You say, 'force'
Praetor Garly says, 'We are hearing rumors that the goblins are trying to resurrect someone or call an ancient spirit or some such thing. Whatever it is, they are very excited about it. It seems that no matter how powerful or useful this thing they are doing is, it may serve to unify them, and that's not something we want right now. I need you and your friends to go into the mines and deal with this. I can rush you to where you need to be when you are [ready].'
Temple of Droga: The Summoning of Droga is now available to you.
Inside the instance...
The high priest and his followers prepare for the ritual to imbue a lowly warrior with the spirit of Droga. Attack them and stop the ritual!
The Main Event
The raid event area is restricted to the NW corner of the zone, around the blood pool. Once anybody steps into the main room and gets on aggro, everybody is pushed into the room and the event timer starts. The High Priest casts Blood Fall (173K targeted small AE nuke) every 15 seconds once the event starts, whether he is on aggro or not, so spread out a little while fighting. Standing in the blood pool means taking damage from the Blood Pool Drain effect (39K damage) every 3 seconds.
High Priest of Droga shouts, 'The ceremony must not be interrupted! Droga shall rise and lead our armies to victory!'
This triggers a 5 minute timer from event start to prevent the High Priest from completing his ritual.
There are six priests of Droga around the blood pool, with small aggro and assist radius. Each casts Blood Sip (135K nuke that heals the priest) 15 seconds after entering combat, then every 5 seconds until dead. There are two tunnels from the blood pool area leading up to access the High Priest of Droga, on the East and West sides of the room. There are warriors of Droga on both paths that are rooted in place.
The High Priest is a belly caster, so you cannot kill him from the ground floor, and he summons from 100%. He continues to cast Blood Fall while you fight him. Once the High Priest is dead or the 5 minute timer is up, The Incarnate Droga spawns in the blood pool below you.
High Priest of Droga shouts, 'The ceremony... Droga shall wither without my guidance... but may he yet crush... our enemies...'
The ritual is disrupted by the high priest's death, and the incarnation of Droga emerges deformed!
At this point, Droga stands and goes active. Any remaining warriors of Droga not killed unroot themselves and rush the raid.
The Incarnate Droga has single-target Rampage and casts many spells. He uses Axe Whirl (40K PB AE nuke) every 12 seconds, and Limb Hack (161K nuke, 350% snare, 50% melee slow) on two targets every 20 seconds. Droga also buffs himself with Crazed Defense (a 90% rune that absorbs up to 5 million damage and cannot be dispelled) 40 seconds into the fight, then every 2 minutes thereafter.
He has a warning emote before casting Blood Bath (142K targeted small AE nuke that flings everybody near the victim toward Droga). The Incarnate Droga craves Yourname's blood. This is a 5 second warning, and he casts the spell every 35 seconds.
There is a warning emote for Blood Splash (108K PB AE nuke). Droga prepares to splash the blood! Better back away!
This is a 10 second warning, and he casts the spell every 50 seconds.
There is another emote for Battle Axe Swath (155K targeted small AE nuke). The Incarnate Droga points his axe at Yourname. This is a 10 second warning, and he casts the spell every 55 seconds. An important note, this spell also does damage to everybody standing in front of Droga, and he turns to cast the spell at the person targeted. So not only does the victim need to get away from the main raid, they should not be standing in the same direction as anybody else.
He also casts Sacrifical Offering, a debuff that caps your health at 30% or 35K, whichever is lower. You are marked as a sacrificial offering. If you do not cure 40 corruption counters within 15 seconds, Droga will cast Consume Sacrifice on the victim, a 2 million damage nuke.
At 60% health, 4 priests of Droga spawn on the Southern wooden platform.
At 35% health, Droga will start spawning bone golems that self-destruct if not killed (Bone Explosion: 200K PB AE nuke and silence). The golems can be snared and kited.
At 20% health, 4 more priests of Droga spawn on the Southern wooden platform.
At 15% health, Droga will start absorbing spell casts. After being hit by 50 spells, Droga heals for 2%. The Incarnate Droga is struck by Yourname's spell! Another X and he will rebuild himself! Only spells that cost mana lower the counter, so procs and mana-free spells are not a problem. DoTs that were landed before 15% also do not lower the counter.
If you allowed the High Priest to live and complete his ritual, Droga gains several more spells.
Every 25 seconds: The Incarnate Droga snarls at Yourname. 10 seconds later, that person is hit with Bloody Rampage 1 (102K nuke), and 5 seconds after that they are hit with Bloody Rampage 2 (195K nuke).
Blood Spit (101K targeted small AE nuke and 102K DoT). The Incarnate Droga stares at Yourname as blood fills his mouth. The DoT component can be cured with 75 poison counters.
Control Blood (single-target fling to Droga, massive snare, silence, amnesia, and -20K attack debuff). The Incarnate Droga begins to control and harden Yourname's blood!
A warning: at very low health (<5%?), Droga can become unrooted and leave the blood pool. He will reset to full health if you allow him out.
Each player earns 10 Ancient Sebilisian Coins and 1 Di`Zok Royal Seal on a win.
The chest drops 2 pieces of Amorphous Velazul armor, 2-4 pieces of other loot, 3-5 Runes of Kunark for Rk. III spells, 2 Ancient Sebilisian Coins, and a chance for 1 Element of Kunark.
