This is the first event in the "Solteris, the Throne of Ro" expedition.
This event is triggered through dialogue with one of the sisters, Althea, Brenda, or Christine. Say "help" to her.
You say, 'Hail, Althea'
Althea crosses her arms over her chest. She is wearing a permanent frown that twists her features into a devilish scowl. Althea manages to spit out, 'When will I see the Master next . . . I only came to this godforsaken place because it was a chance be closer to him, but he's gone to the battles above while I'm consigned to watch this sundial for days. Or has it been months? I don't know anymore! As long as it's been, the Master is still all I can think about. With Brenda and Christine out of the way he'd focus more attention on me, I know it! Can you . . . Can you [help] me, _____?'
You say, 'I can help you'
Althea nods and whispers, 'The simplest way to garner one's aaffection is to discover what they desire, and then become it. And I have seen what the Master desires. With sufficient demonstration of strength, the Master would wish me by his side at the frontlines. Bring me three artifacts from the prime guardians. That should be enough to destroy Brenda and Christine. Be quick about it . . .'
You say, 'Hail, Brenda'
Brenda is visibly fuming, her nostrils flaring with each exaggerated breath. 'The Master personally invited me to join him here, but now he's occupied elsewhere. I would give up anything to see his gorgeous face again. It's all Althea and Christine's fault! They doted on the Master until he left us behind. He was always happy with me. He flattered me endlessly. I MUST have that back. If the other two were gone, things would be different . . . Can you [help] me, _____?'
You say, 'I can help you'
Brenda nods and whispers, 'These nine disks encircling the sundial represent the suns that Solusek Ro draws power from. The disks are gateways to the suns and they are now protected by our forces, a different beast behind each one. Should you manipulate a disk, it will return the guardian here. Kill them and bring me three of the artifacts they carry. That should be enough to destroy Althea and Christine. Be quick about it . . .'
You say, 'Hail, Christine'
Christine clenches her small hands unconsciously until a trickle of blood seeps from her palm, 'I . . . overheard the Master's orders before they were relayed to me. He callously gave us the task of standing guard over this worthless sundial. As if being ignored by the Master wasn't enough, now I'm the subject of tedium in proximity to the two vipers I hate the most. Why? He used to care for me more than anything else in the world. Althea and Brenda ruined it! Those two ruined it! Please, can you [help] me, _____?'
You say, 'I can help you'
Christine nods and whispers, 'The Master has forced the dial to align with the sun of Ro, allowing his influence to spread there and ultimately dim the world of Norrath. The prime guardians stationed behind the gates are keeping this in check. By manipulating a disk, the guardian will return here. Kill them while they're disoriented and bring me three of their artifacts. That should be enough to destroy Althea and Brenda. Be quick about it . . .'
Upon triggering the event, a five minute timer starts. You must kill all nine guardians and give each sister three of their items within that timeframe, otherwise the event resets.
There are nine platforms surrounding the dial. Standing on a platform (or clicking on it?) triggers the spawn of a Guardian. You can spawn them one at a time or split your raid up and deal with them a few at a time. They have varying abilities and each drop an item to be given to a sister.

Lightning Greaves (single-target)

3: Amnesia (Silence vs Melee Effect)
Give each sister three of the dropped items. Once the ninth item is handed in, they will attack one another. Who attacks whom and who kills whom depends on the items given to them.
Lightning-Scored Greaves will always attack first.
Valen Ak-Daal will kill anything except for Buckler of Mistmoore.
Stave of Stinging Soot will kill anything except for the Vermilion Batfur Shawl and Shroud of Purest Shade.
There are numerous combinations you can do. Bear in mind, though, that the sisters take on the abilities of the Guardians from whom their items came. Some combinations will make the remaining sister unkillable or will leave you with two sisters to kill instead of just one.
_____ swings at _____ with the Ak-Daal blade!
_____ is cut down.
_____ swings at _____ with the Ak-Daal blade!
_____ deflects the attack with her shield.
_____ levels her wand at _____ and blasts her with a beam of steaming soot!
_____ is incinerated by the beam!
_____ screeches, 'The Master will know my worth and have me by his side soon. How soon, exactly? As soon as I cut down those of you standing in my way!'
The remaining sister begins attacking.
Upon failure:
Althea pouts, 'Another dismal failure! To be cursed as I have . . . to endure so many disappointments.'
Brenda screams, 'No curse compares to the torment of being trapped here with you pitiful strumpets!'
Christine whines, 'Save your pity. You'll be needing it when the Master realizes my worth and discards the two of you like the worthless trash you truly are.'
There is no reset timer -- it can be triggered again immediately.
Upon success, a chest spawns with loot on the dial. Loot consists of two Tiny Phosphene Clusters (effect yields 100 Phosphenes) and two items from this list:
Althea's Black Pearl Choker
Bloodstained Ak-Daal Blade
Brenda's Lavender Cinch
Christine's Engagement Ring
Cryptwood Truncheon
Diary of Jealous Loathing
Glowing Orb of Temporal Stasis
Haraibou of Screaming Souls
Polished Fang-Guard
Staff of Screaming Souls
