Muffin for Pandos  

Hello Khanntus Saintheart here, been reading mb for some time now and want to post information about PoG faction. I went there several months ago to help a guild. At that time I did not thank about the faction guess I should have any how I went from ally to kos in less than 2 hours my lord I though got to be the quickest way to lose faction besides killing Sir Lucan. Below is what I did to get the faction fixed it worked not hard just time consuming.

I went to Crushbone first raided faction with Emerald Warriors and StormGuard, was there for 3 days and Faydwer Champions were still at Scowl. Maxed out orcs and de. My was this annoying said had to be a better way to raise Faydwer Champions, so I ask a friend who at the time I went to CB was on vacation. Here is what he told me


First off get a port to Western Commons have 8 backpacks empty them first of the stuff you don’t need. When you enter EC from WC zone there are a set of 3 huts the last hut has a Edurite vender which sells unlimited bat wings buy as many as backs you have my first was like 54 stacks. OK get back to Felwithe once you get to bank have invisible on your self or a potion. Eisel the Pure an high elf at the lake will kill you if you are not invisble(she can not see through invisibility. Zone into the other Felwithe, Now here is the trick Keeper of the Arts faction is the secret go into mage guild target Niola Imholder she is the one you turn the bat wings into run out into hall con her. Now I did this and was already indifferently, so I am not sure if you can do at dubous or apprehensly but you can try. If you are kos you can kill Kizdean Gix in WC. If you can turn in batwings 1 batwing per slot yes it is time consuming but way worth it. It does raise faction with Faydwer Champions this is what you are looking for amen right? You might want to do 100 stacks or so or until you are dubous to Faydwer Champions go invisble in rangers guild in Keltin and con Ran Sunfire once dubous off to sencond part of the faction hunt.


The muffin quest is best done at Dubous so buy you as many muffins as you can carry and head to West Freeport(if kos to guards and venders this might almost be hard to do) if not you are safe to do. Go to Holgagers Inn go to second floor and in a hallway you will see a dwarf named Pandos Flintside….had me think hmm a dwarf on faydwer champion factions strange at it seem it did raise the faction. Give him a muffin per slot this will raise faction with faydwer champions, clerics of tunare and soldiers of tunare. When you run out of muffins you can go to the Thertre of Tranqulity they sell them thank vender name is Donna don’t rember last name.


Ok I hope this help it helped me and it did raise faction, bear in mind it will take some time to do took me a total of 2 days on the batwings and muffins. Also if you are a druid an ranger without there epics wait till PoG after you get epics. Good Luck hope this has helped.

I have a dark elf enchanter on the Xagony server. This char was KOS to both Pandos and Lady Shae. I cast illusion human and they coned dubious. I gave muffins to Pandow 4 stacks at a time and received faction. After about 20 plat of muffins Pandos coned dubious to the char without illusion. I did this in January of 2002 so the quest does still work on that server. Muffins can be bought from the merchant in the area of the theatre of the tranquil. The merchant is located in the shop in the SW corner of the area.
As an unrelated item. On the same day, I also gave red wine to Lady Shae in the same manner. After more than 30 plat of wine she coned dubious to the char without illusion. The char gained faction with Felguard.

i did this quest on prexus with my dwarven rogue,
i gave him 4 stacks of mufins at a time and after about 200 muffins he went from dubios to amiable,

and yes, you CAN give him 4 stacks at a time, at least it worked for me

Miners Guild 249 is the dwarven Rogue guild, not the paladin guild!!

Is there a way of knowing where your faction is, becides killing after the fact. This is new to me and I have no clue on how my characters are standing with faction levels. Any help would be greatful. thanx

Pandos is Kos to me, and i tried everything, harmony him giving muffins invis..and he says..i will do nothing to aid beings like u. I been killing CB Orcs 3 days for 6 hours, orc faction cant get any worse and still no change in faction with pandos..dunno what to do anymore hehe

do muffins for pandos
have an invisibility casting partner
have them cast invisi on you
move to maximum distance where you can hand pandos some muffins
you become visible when trade window appears,but he does not attack
fill trade window with muffins,4x4
partner casts invisi on you
you click trade,faction goes up 16 times
repeat from 'visible when trade window appears'

you do not need harmony,do not need to move from point at which you can hand in muffins at maximum range,just need a partner who can cast invisible and a good pool of mana.

took me around 88 stacks of muffins and 50 clerics in neriak to become amiable from bottomed out kos.

pandos is on soldiers or clerics of tunare faction,i am leaning to clerics,since i killed the neriak clerics and they only give clerics of tunare faction up(4 good cleric ups,no other good factions)which basically means anyone posting that you should do faydark champs,or emerald warrior quests,can bite me,they are wasting mine,and your time.

When i did quest (to repair faction lost after hunting in PoG), Pandos became ally to me as i got the message "your faction standing with King Tearix Thex can not get any better".

As a paladin who doesn't have epic yet, it seemed better to me not to be KOS to the epic quest giver (Tunare part not finished yet).

I was first KOS to Pandos, and every faction linked with PoG hunting...

Good way to "repair" the faction lost is getting enough faction with Pandos to do muffin quest (you can start doing the quest with Pandos when he is dubious)...

So i took my nice Naginata, went to Crushbone, and raided zone alone for a few hours, killing like around 2k orcs (more or less, it's quite boring at level58!)... Faction with King Tearix Thex increased by that time.. went back to Freeport, dubious to Pandos, went to buy Muffins in building where Joshua is (from female vendor, unlimited muffins now). I had to give muffins to Pandos for 1hour to be ally to him (King Tearix Thex faction). put 4muffins in each trade window slot. click trade, you get 16 faction changes :).

I kept giving muffins to Pandos for 2more hours (very boring), until i reached my target: ally with clerics of Tunare!!!.

Very boring, as it took a few hours to repair faction. But it's doable :)

My Paladin is working on faction while fighting in the Freeport area. Had done the quest a few times with a few stacks of muffins after a patch till the vendor was out. Just found out tonight all the vendors have unlimited muffins again. Also of note is that all faction hits are equal, I went max faction on all 5 factions on the same muffin (well maxed out neg faction with orcs). Hope that helps everyone out, great quest, great faction, and easy to buy muffins now that Brownloes has an unlimited supply. Another thing of note........muffins sell back to the vendor for the same price you pay for them =).....I had 2 packs full at max faction =D

In Thurga you can buy muffins, when you come into the city turn right hand and the second or third house on the left side, there you can buy muffins.
