I went AFK near the dire leech recently, and when I came back I saw a froglok named Vissix walking away from a dead iksar (me). He had some kind of pet, and he can cast some spells. The highest he hit me for was 50. Thats all I know, but I`ll try and get more info. Just found him on another site. He must not be so new.

This is a new mob in Swamp of No Hope since the OoW patch. Willowisp graphic, untrackable by my 61 ranger. Could barely catch up to it at sow speed. Conned red and indifferent and did not stop in answer to my hails. Did not try to attack it.
a dire leech and a swamp dragon a dire leech is blue to me (66 lv) a swamp dragon is trigger pop when a dire leech's hp 80% (a dire leech is depop) a dire leech looks have 32K hp. a swamp dragon is yellow to me. maybe 68 a swamp dragon hit 1K over. (quad, 1900, 1340, etc) and have Nasty AE DoT. can not resist at all Resist 505.(i'm bard) * i did test 4 time. AE name is Swamp Breathe. Looks like Disease resist Check. 200 DD and 350 DoT. AE radius is so Long! slow is not immune.
Here is a list of "Dire" mobs i have come across. A Dire Panda- Stonebrunt Mountains A Dire Leech- Swamp of No Hope A Dire Griffon- North Karana A Dire Kodiak- Jagged Pine
These are all level 65 and con indifferent. I hope this helps with some puzzle pieces. Rangers had to find 6 sick animals. I would assume there are 2 other dire animals out there to add to this list. Possibly druid epic? I haven't found any epic information linked to them yet.

New mob that I don't see listed . . named Zaiban Zellenshar. Blue to a lvl 65, iksar female character model wearing chain. Out in front of cave that leads from Swamp to Traks Teeth. Wouldn't respond to hails of any kind from an Enchanter or Cleric
Earlier today Ithiosar was up about 40 people showed up in a few minutes. From what they all said he is a GM spawned scripted event. Not a GM event persay but a GM triggered Event. We took out his first form Ithiosar the Fallen with ease. His second form Ithiosar the Black wiped us out, we had mostly 60+ and a few 50-60's. We gave it our all but there were not enough of us to take him out.
Of the first spawn all that dropped was a Pain Fury Sash...and not a single necro in the raid.
Second form was lead away as we were getting slaughtered and despawned. I was on of the lucky few that survived. So really we got nothign for this event. But I did get some nice screen shots of a Dragon most will never see yeah me :)
Ithiosar on Prexus both on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was the lowest level player there (51), but we had about 30 in our group. First spawn went pretty quick (though i died). Second spawn nearly wiped the whole party. We regrouped and prepared to try again. GM was taunting us with haunting messages (lol..he knew we were there). 2nd attempt we took him down. I got the dragon bracer (which i'm sure pissed off all the 55+ peeps who could use it)...oh well, another toy to store in the bank until I can use it.
I got an Emote on my warrior of this person and so i changed to bard **Uber []D [] []\/[][]D** And went to find hin and in SoNH we found him and a 41 person raid with mainly 45-65's took him down and he spawned his what looked to be like a shadow or a goast type thing didnt stay around long enough to find out. Hope it helps :)
While running around the Swamp I ran across a lvl 6 mob named Iksar Outcast. I slew him for the xp and looted a lore skull called Logrin's Skull. No mob info on this page. Anyone know anything about what the skull is for?
As part of a halloween event i'm sure, Ithiosar popped in the swamp close to the TT entrance. He wiped us out twice, and we had approx 40peeps most of them well over 55 and a few 65s. We were short on clerics and the MT pulled before he realized that the main cleric was OOM from Aegoing everyone. So, it was ugly, but we got some nice screenshots. Here are some thoughts for him. He casts a disease based AE that does about 1200dmg if not resisted. I resisted the first one at about 150DR, but not the second one. He hits with this about every 45secs or so. Also, he meleed me to death with a 298hit followed quickly with a life tap of 710, then another hit for 258 with a life tap of 710 again. The third hit me for 267 and I was died. From what I could tell, that happened on one swing, since we ran over to the cleric that was MT healing and i was beside him and went down about a sec after he ran there. There were about 12 black ravengers up on track (a ranger friend checked for me) and from what I heard they are lvl 57 each. They guys were all around Ithiorsor and should probably get taken out first since Iknow that they killed some people when we pulled the dragon. They didn't hit too hard, although I didn't get a chance to con one and only know the dmg from the one that killed my roomie. For the record, I was a 57 shaman when I got there with over 150 resists in MR and DR when i fought him.

Sorry, forgot to add that the MT, lvl 65 with some bad ass equipment (don't ask cause I don't know much about their equipment, but when he joined everyone seemed pretty happy to have him there), went down in about 15 secs. Cleric CH rotation is definetly essential. And need a lot of them cause I seriously don't even think that we dented his HPs at all, although that minute fight might have something to do with it
Baron Valsuvious 57th Shaman Dragonslayers of MacDill AB
His AE spell covers pretty much the entire cavern. I bound to the other side of the lake, and I got treated to a double kill on our second attempt. And don't forget - that DoT is 175/tick for eight and a half hours. The 65 shaman had a spell to cure it, but I forgot the name of it.
Okay, anyone have a loc of where to find this guy and an approximate spawn time? I would guess 7 days like most other kunark dragons but that is just a guess. Also, I read about his dot and dd but anyone know how much he hits for? I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks a lot everyone.
This was the name of the dragon I saw today while running to TT. Im curious as to if this is the 2nd spawn mentioned in other posts or his first form. Also can somebody please post info on both dragons like their melee dmg, hp range, if they use ae's, ect..
The new Dragon droped a Pally belt for us, don't remember exact stats, but it was somewhere close to 33ac 12str 12wis 12stm 35mana 75hp 30sv fire, he may only drop 1 thing at a time, but it's some uber stuff. We didnt manage to kill the second tho, he got the better of us rather quickly, but next time we'll be better prepared as we know what we are agains.

A big black dragon named Ithiosar The Fallen spawned in the cave to TT on Saryrn tonight. Mean guy, 1200 dmg DD with a nasty DoT and as soon as we killed him another Bigger dragon spawned named Ithiosar The Black. We didnt manage to kill the Black, but Fallen dropped a Rogue only belt called Shadow Fury Girdle 30 AC 12 Str 12 Sta 12 Agi 60 HP 35 Save Poison. We were rezzing up for a run on the Black but he depopped after 5 or so minutes =( Oh well...
This is a mob that spawns when a beastlord doing his epic gives an item to Scout Eyru. Here are some details:
Spawn loc: approximately n3500, p2300 just north of Scout Eyru in the water. You can see him clearly visible in the water and target him with F8 I believe. This is near the west FV/Swamp zone line. Level/visual: 55 giant alligator Hps: either a high regen or somewhere in the 15-32k range. Sorry I can't be more specific. Hits: he hits for around 200-255 regularly Pulling: seems to be rooted, can't be pulled out of the water for sure Resists needed: 100+ MR resists most of his Area of Effect Stun called Death Roll? 139MR resisted 95% of them.
Tactics: Your melee and healers need EB and Magic Resistance, and need to be in the water, with the healers hopefully back a ways. If the healer's aren't in the water they will get failed heals. Your nukers/dot classes can be on land near the water and can only! land spells on him from there. Casting on him from inside the water results in no message(even in melee range) and just eats mana. Note that his AoE stun does extend to the land near him.
One final thing, he doesn't seem to summon people if they are on land even if they have aggro, but we had one person get summoned out of nowhere while others seemed fine even when they were the only ones on his aggro list. It SEEMS that you can abort a raid by getting everyone to land but camping out well back from him to clear aggro is the only 100% method so don't take chances.
NEWBES........... this zone is a great place for newbes but its so easy to get lost..... stay on the roads at all time (unless u know what yer doin) iv never been to the froglock vilage and so on and so forth
If you go in Invis'd and stay close to the wall on the right side from the zone in from Trak, then you'll be safe...and possibly if not invis. I was lucky and happened to have a monk zone before me and warn my group that they were there. No clue why Verant decided to fook with our minds though...*shrug*
I hate how they have like 10 different named mobs, and they all drop nadda except for the one froglok warrior with the 5+ pp and occasional gem, but other then that this zone bites except for the epic quest peices that are needed in this zone it suks SrY id rather be in WW! gl2u and dont bother with the named ones in this zone =)
Near the TT zone, inside the caves where the old HS key quest guy and some froglok's used to be ( Dugroz was moved to the Froglok city area ) there are lvl 55 warrior mobs named Black Ravengers.
These bastards hit for 270 a pop and are fairly resistant. They also summon. NOT ONLY do they summon, but at current date they summon you underneath the world and really piss in your cornflakes.
I suggest staying away unless you bring a decent group ready to slow, heal like a mofo and hopefully you won't get summoned into an oblivion and end up under the world in the river/swamp getting chain summoned.. or in East Cab ( safe spot when you go too far under the world ).
FU Verant.. wth are these things and why are they broken-assed up?
Was traveling to CoM with my warrior friend and took the route through the tunnel, was stood next to some mobs i hadnt seen b4, conned it..red to me, next thing I know, i was being hit for mid 200's. Red to 47. Name was A Black Ravenger. Anybody else come across these b4?
This mob killed me today while i was omw to Trakanon from Cabilis. realy mean one to. never seen him there or in other parts of the zone befor. i also noticed 20 dead iksars lying around him, and i couldnt target them.
I'm looking for An Iksar Traitor. A named mob that wanders through the swamp. I haven't found him in over a week but I know he's there and a reuirement to upgrade my warrior's Partisan Pike. Hell, I even have 8 escaped shackles. That's how long I've been looking for him.
The Iksar traitor is actually a low level named Iksar spawn inside East Cabilis that is triggered by giving the baker one of the pies that drop off Froglok Escorts in the Swamp of No Hope. His name and details are listed in the above quest link. Hope that helps you(despite the time lag) or others trying to do it.

Yea i was in there yesterday and went afk for a sec. and when i got back i was gettin killed by this skeleton named dred his highest hit was for 45 and im an 11 monk so he waws most likely red to me. has anyone ever heard of this guy before or know what hes for?
And also i dont know where to find the friggin escaped froglok slaves could anyone help me?
I zoned into the swamp yesterday from FV. After wandering a bit to find my way about, I get a message that pops up saying "You resist the Death Roll spell." A second or two later, I didn't resist it, and I started spinning like you do with the Clockwork Poison from the Mutant Shroom in Guk. Never took damage, but was a pain to get away from. When I was finally able to get away, I looked at my target bar and saw that I had a Spirit of Sorrow targeted and that he/she was red to a 48, but conned indifferently. Anyone know what this mob is for? Never heard of it and didn't see it posted here on Illia's page. Just curious.

A Microsoft scowls at you, ready to attack! What would you like your Error Message to say?
Wandering through the swamp encountered Bloodskull, a named Iksar looking skeleton. Yellow Con to a 25 lvl rogue. Seems with most named skels he dropped nothing to mention, a few plat maybe. Was KoS to Wood Elf Druid, Catman Rogue and Dwarven Cleric. /shrug perhaps another charm the monster type quest from Verant or perhaps he is a rare with a rare drop only as in FM mobs.
Does anyone know if this is the zone that drops the man eating root or vine or whatever for the druid spell quest Beguile Plants if you find out drop by the Zeb server and send me a tell plz I would really appreciate it
Those crap skippers are like invisible, maybe someone could reply to this post telling me where the best place to find these peices of monkey crap. I need it for the "Shackle of Clay" quest which will soon turn into the "Shackle of Stone." I've looked all over the net but no site tells me where these frogloks hide, if they would, there would be blood spilled by with my Forest Giant Hammer. It was funny, A level 2 I was grouped with, kept wanting to take on reds with his Forged Moring Star (Base DMG: 8, (16-17) and He kept on having to run back to Lake of Ill Omen, he asks why are you not helping and I laughed. So if anyonecan reply please do...
Go to the flat open ground with the pillars that line a path that lead into the water. Follow the path into the water and swim over to the next island. It is there where I found all the froglok skipers and froglok slaves for my monk quest items. But yes they are very rare and found that if newbies killed the froglok slaves in the city then there would be no slave spawn in the swamp. And one more thing I have only seen them appear at night . Good luck and hope this helps.
