Found Deep with my Ranger, finally. She was at -204, 1321, which is in the southern end of the lake, where it channels to the left. Apparently she likes to swim.
Lol tonight I (55 beast), a 55 druid and a high-40s cleric and warrior went out to Lake Rathe to get the war and cleric epic pieces.
When I was hanging out at the tower, whacking everything in sight EXCEPT Deep, I had her targeted and accidentally kicked her. She hit from 50-169, and I swam away while pet tanked her and managed to run to Arena with levitate and sow once I hit the surface.
Then the druid was casting an AoE on the goblins in the tower and she hit Deep. So the druid got aggro from Deep. While Deep dragged her to 40% in five hits, I kicked her again to grab the aggro quickly before she wiped the floor with the druid after the druid just drowned and got a rez. My beastlord had higher swimming skill than the others in the group and swam away, behind the druid until I passed her without noticing. I saw Deep bring her back to 40% after she regen'ed back to 60%. I kicked her again and held the aggro while the druid kept swimming. When we got near the Arena ent, Deep was on the druid again. She brought the druid down to 20%, so I ran up and hit Deep for 249 dmg. I then tanked Deep until the druid zoned along with the cleric and the warrior.
Since I zoned her (she got me down to about 50% since I didn't bother to slow her, any less attack her) she sat there, up a wall at the Arena ent.
Seriously, if you accidentally hit Deep and you don't have at least 2.5k hp and a swim skill of about 150, you're doomed. She doesn't hit hard or very fast, but she will stun you while you are in the water while still hitting around 50-170 dmg.
If a 55 Beastlord with Master's Vah Anima gear and a Stave of the Eternal can tank her, she can't be too bad.

Well, i was camping my cleric epic mob and my monk epic mob on my pally, and i was just sitting there and Deep spawns so i kill her and loot her.. and nothing on her.. has that happend to anyone else ?? IDK.. but it SUCKS !!
Deep in Lake Rathe is easier to fight on land. Have a caster bind on the island above her - go in and aggro her and gate. She will warp to the island beside the caster where rest of group is waiting.
Ok just got done with this part of my epic this evening. heres the scoop all in one post so u dont have to read a thousand threads just to get the info. Mind u these kills were done with a group of 4 (lvl 65 pally 100ish aa, lvl 65 druid 100ish aa, lvl 65 sk, 25 aa, lvl 65 chanter 90+ aa, and me lvl 60 monk, 8 aa, all with NON-Elemental gear, just standard gear most 60+ folks have honestly). OK onto the meat: Deep + Vorash fight- easy. Both cannot be slowed by a chanter. Hit pretty wimpy, only proc thats annoying is vorash, his stun is resistable with high MR. so no biggie there. Deep is also pretty easy, SK took the Deep Pally took Vorash. both went down in about 3 min. Xenevorash- Easy there too for us. Still chanter couldn't slow or nuke due to high MR. Stun lasts for 30 seconds, he cons even to 65. Hits for around 200-250 stun procs for about 500, less or nil with high MR. Over all this can be done with one group of 60+. Druid never went oom, and nukes were flying all over from her. pally had a little prob with xene stun and aggro keeping. If u are one who wants a slow try a shammy. chanters are essential for this fight due to Haste (VQ), MR, and VoQ. Pet helped with DPS so its all good in the end. If you are hunting in PoV and PoS with a solid group of friends, this battle will be cake for you.
Downed Today with a 56mnk (me) / 63dru / 53clr / 50dru / 55chanty...slow never landed, was an over kill anyway, hitting for like 170. Was easy fight, biggest problem was pulling through all the water.
She hits for 170ish, opened with a 600 point nuke,sk maybe? Fight was long could not check. Very magic resistant, 58 wiard only landing lures, malo from mage would not hit. "Jabeker is encased in water" assume this was the stun proc others were speaking of. Took a cleric shaman mage and wizard avrage level 56 to take him down.
I swear, I should stop coming to these forums to find any useful information, because I'm disappointed every time with retarded posts from 2 year olds.
Yes there's 2 "Deeps"... lore-wise, they're the same person. The one in Lake of Ill Omen is a trigerred spawn for the final fight for the monk epic, the Celestial Fists.
She hits for 170ish max, and procs a stun. Vorash also spawns with her, and when both are dead, Xenovorash spawns.
Ideally, get 3-4 groups (or less, depending on how high level folks are) and sic one group on Vorash just tanking him, while everyone else slaughters Deep. Then kill Vorash, and Xenovorash spawns. Much harder fight.
Vorash hits for 170ish max, procs a dd. Xenovorash hits for 250ish max, procs a 500dd + stun. Keep that MR high for this guy if you're tanking.
At the end of it, Xeno drops the Demon Fangs, which you turn in to Kaiaren in Trak's Teeth along with the rest of the stuff you've acquired for the epic.
Now, I was curious if anyone knew a couple things...
a) Deep/Vorash/Xenovorash's approximate hp b) A definite idea of the procs on Deep/Vorash. I've heard conflicting reports. c) Where Deep and Vorash spawn after you trigger them via the Astral Projection
I was there last night with EOT Pet. Had a 56 Pally with me and 56 Cleric. Pally attacked and cleric, after first heal, got her butt handed to her quickly. Then Pally went down.
I was left with EOT tanking. Darkness would not stick. Pyrocur stuck. Vexing Mordania stuck once and resisted once. She hits in the low to mid 100s so not too hard. She summons. I did not have opportunity to try Disease or Poison based spells. I suspect they stick and that she is just highly resitant to magic based spells.
I got her to about 50% hp before Pet died. I FD'd.
Conclusion: Prolly not posible for me to solo her with EOT unless I can get off alot more in the way of Dots while healing pet. Prolly Pyrocur, Plague and Env Bolt would have helped.
I suspect she might be soloable at 61 if I had LOZ.
I went on an epic raid In LoIO and was the first to die... set off a heal and BAM deep got me... I felt so special hehe... I was wondering what are the odds of this wench in LRT to attack me when Im going for my crown! lol I guess I will have to find out. I dont hear many horror stories about her killing everyone going for Lord Bugers (I know i spelt it wrong... laugh you dork) crown... =P

Posted:May 09 2002 at 6:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yea, i was just walking along in the lake the other day with my lvl 24 uber twinked druid, and this ***** starts attacking me. so i say to her "WTF" and throw a couple of DOTs on her with the old root and snare. i kite her around for a little bit and she bites the dust. that'll teach the stupid *****
Yeah . . . sure . . . well my level 1 necro melee'd her to death . . .
Anyone says they soloed Deep is just gay, anyone who says they killed some epic mob solo is gay, because trying to make people think you are good is gay, and if you are able to solo epic mobs, then obviously VI gave you special powers (GM).
Oh, and my level 1 warrior kited her with necro dots and then melee'd her with his epic . . . *rolls eyes*
I just beat the hell out of here solo with a 70 enc. full defensive. Anguish/GoD geared. hit me for max of 86. Even if she resisted my Ancient: Neurosis, she didnt resist mana flare. didnt bother with rune and she still didnt get me under 80%
I did solo her with a 64 BST..slowed...let pet tank for a bit...healed pet...she got to about 50% I went in. I was down to 15% health when she dropped, but she CAN be soloed. She does ENRAGE around 10%..reason I got down to so low health. I could have let pet tank her the whole time while I healed. I would say that she has 40-45k HPs...maybe more ../shrug
Still me level 1 necro here, ummm, how would twinking your druid do anything? It's not like a warrior, where your twinkage helps your ac and atk. Twinking a druid would maybe up your mana slightly. No chance in hell of surviving Deep if she was meleeing you, even an uberass level 60 warrior needs clerics chain healing him sometimes.
