Killing her lowers faction with Bertoxxulous and does not raise any factions.

Dropped her solo with a 27 Wizard (Untwinked, but I did have the Jade Bracelet and Tiny Ring Magician summoned focus items). She was blue to me, so 26 at most. Buffed my best shield, leatherskin, poison resist, elemental shield. Went in invisible. Stood in corner by door and opened with Frost Shock. She opened up with DOTs, most of which were resisted. Another Frost Shock, then Root, then another Frost Shock.. By then she was almost dead. Fired one more Frost Shock which was overkill. Down she went. I had a Blood Boil and a Choke on me, which expired in about 30 sec. I had half health and about half mana left.

I just soloed her with a 25th level untwinked Cleric. Took me 7 trys.

Your problem won't be getting killed by her, although she does fire off a 150 pt DD occasionally. The real problem is that she's very near NPCs which are just on the other side of a short and twisty hallway. Once she starts running, it's pretty hard to blast her before they KS her. She also blasts you with fear a lot. When it lands (an if she's unrooted) she'll chase you into the hallway and get herself killed.

So here's my reccomendation. Turn off run and position yourself in the back corner facing the door. That way if you get feared, then you may not drag her far enough to get her KSed. Smite her down to ~25% health before trying to stick root on her. It's a waste of time and mana to do it earlier. It fails half the time and doesn't stick very long anyhow. If she does run at low hp, run quickly to where the closest gorilla sits in the elbow of the hall and cast. She will not have made it out of your line of sight and you might get lucky and get her before the NPCs do.

Anyway to bring the faction with the Kerrans up? Having a hard time gettin in =/ .

Fought her today and got a big surprise as she casted choke on me, all I know a chanter spell, after 3 tries she began to blast me with that "poison seeps through your skin" thingie so she can't be a Shadowknight at all she's rather some chanter/necro mix up. As I landed the final blow I got a faction hit with Bertoxxulous and looted the Icon plus a Bronze Spider Totem HP 5 Mana 10 CLR/DRU/SHM/BRD primary/secondary. Seems like she's one of the pre Paineel Heretics.

The Kerrans in Kerra ISLE (in Erud's Crossing) are on Prexus faction (yes, the god). This makes them indiff to agnostics, amiably to followers of good Gods, warmly to Prexus followers (woot!), KOS to most evils.

The Kerans in Kerra RIDGE (the entire zone that's a Kerran city) are on their own seperate faction. They are KOS to Erudites and evil-aligned people, making this quest very hard for poor Erudite Clerics like me and other poor Inkie Clerics. 8(

She will fear you when u attack. bad thing is that the kerans will kill her when she runs after you.
Try rooting yourself BEFORE attacking her. She will still fear you, but you won't run out of room. If root breaks before fear does though, you leave like a slingshot. hehehe At least this way the kerrans have less of a chance of killing her.

Warning for DE clerics, con the cats carefully. Despite everything I read, the cats conned "ready to attack". This was my first visit to the island. The catsliked the druid traveling with me. You will need invis to get to the temple and Maugarim.

Well she coned blue to me at lvl 28(bard)..i didnt kill her though just because i was exloring while my friend a lvl 40 necro decided to slaughter the whole place..which he did.I'm not sure on her spawn rate but i do think she is not a rare spawn.btw this zone rarely has people in it so its like you have the whole zone to yourself :)

Make sure you have endure magic to avoid her Fearing you. First time I fought her she hit me with that and the Kerran's in the temple killed her ;-( Stun and blast she is no big deal.
