the above post is correct , i was casting on one with my 34th lvl human paladin using my 94 dmg dd spell barly a scratch to them. i petitioned a gm gm said oh they have 10,000 health and can hit upto 140 dmg . and one thing i found out they have a massive regeneration and only attack you if you melee them . i could have soloed one with my paladin but after about 3 hours and half life on the **** thing i called in help froma 35th lvl wizard we killed it it drppped 2 gp a kite shield and a bronze bastard. by the way the wizard said he would never help[ me kill one these again . I am just waiting for verant to make this into a paladin quest some how i know they will but at least it will be easier than the armor of ro quest .

the guards in the newbie area are both lvl 20, however the hit for up to 137 dmg so don't try to kill them. I am a lvl 48 warrior, and almost got killed when I attacked one. the guards further in the city (past the elevator) are either lvl 20 for the first few spawn spots, or range from 24 to 26 once you go past the first teleporter. loot seems to be between 1gp up to 3pp and a FS short sword as well as a kite shield.

These guards are way undercon. I can't solo at 53 as a warrior. It's the guards INSIDE the city of paineel that everyone kills, don't hit nearly as hard and all con green to light blue at 53.

I totally agree with this. I wanted to check out the Warrens zone and, being a level 35 Paladin, didn't think it was going to be difficult getting in. As soon as I zoned into the newbie area, I got attacked by an NPC and his pet ( both conned green ). I had to use Lay Hands and then I went for the guard(green con also). Huge Mistake!!! They hit alot harder than your normal 20th level creatures. When I zoned, I only had 36hp's remaining. Not as much fun as I thought it was going to be.
