loc is -1103,-721,-114 ....library is on east side of zone...max hit i got was 1253 is slowable and somewhat resistnt to my dots im a 72 SHM btw had merc tank and a 61 cleric freind with me all fully buffed EASY fight over in 1 min

he dropped the fabled shield and regular shield
i a wizard, am 2-3 with this guy and both times i killed him he droped

I solo'd him the other night (70 Shaman) ... he dropped Tolan's Darkwood Bracer and Fabled Clay Guardian Shield

confirmed. Back of library. Dropped fabled shield and bracers. hits for up to 1k, enrages, double attacks for around 1300. Killed him with 70 warrior, 66 cleric, 66 enchanter, 51 shammy and 51 bard. Definatly a fun fight, highly recommended if you have the tanking power!
Was in the library and thought we would give it a go with a group of mid 50 toons. The fight lasted as long as it took our wizard to evac the survivors out. Hit for 1475. Not fun but it was funny.

Camped this guy today... got him twice... he conned even to lvl 70 both times. Summons but does not cast. Had a 65 shd tanking... 300aas i think. Hit him for 500hp alot and several in the range of 1100hp. Was close fight each time but he lived. Had 70mag, 70cleric, 65shd, and 65 shm. He was only partially slowable. The 2nd fight shm got resist on slow and died. We still got him but took all cleric's mana to do it. Oh, he rages toward end of fight of course. Doesn't do that enrage thing though where they hit everyone in room. Hope that helps some.

Can confirm this guy is 70...conned even to myself (70 bst) and 70 shammy. Was hitting me for upper 1400's pretty fast but pretty low amt of hps so wasn't too bad of a fight. Decent shield..ended up being a momento as it wasn't an upgrade for shammy. Good luck!
Rangers all have Endless Quiver, Fabled Tolan's bracer has no use if you can kill the fabled mobs. Both the other chain bracers have mana regen, good stats, and +atk for rangers, you should be really happy
Most rangers of all time, being 98-05, get excited from the name Brogg. Most of us concider the tolans bracer fabled, yet The Big Man himself drops nothing Rng specific. Just a weak sheild for the 2-3 classes that might use a sheild some times. Last year the Fableds were great and class specific, for example the fabled bone dirk. This year its all about apealling to all the payer's, not players. Forgive me if this is a flame, but since im one of the longest lasting of my friends, EQ seems to have lost the magic. EQ jumped the shark ages ago.

You're a ******, plain and simple. Saying this shield is usable by 2-3 classes? Wtf. I have a necro AND a shaman that I 2 box and I plan on getting this for both of em.
Not to mention the other casters that would and will use this shield. STFU before you start ******** about a useless at that level ranger item.

Maybe you should check out the fabled mrylokar's bracer before you get your panties in too much of a wad. What they did this year was combine all chain, plate, leather, and silks specific classes on to what were origionally class specific items. The reason I think for them doing this was to make it easier for people to obtain help doing those mobs. Boohoo that they didn't pick tolan's bracer as one. There were, however, two other formerly class specific bracers that they picked to be ranger useable.
