They are the toughest creature in the game and drop the Fiery Avenger as a common drop. They duel wield and double attack so u can get hit for over 200 per blow. They also have a spell which hits for 4000 damage and can lay hands plus ensnare root poison and debuff u in many ways. There rare drop is a bat wing.

Is everyone stupid? the bat wings sell to the ppl who can cast levitate. they are components

20 bat wings sell for about a plat to players with levitate. And why isnt there a picture of a bat :) Are they that rare?

wait, wait, wait, 20 of what? probably bat wings, but they have things like fur which are worth a little.

Whack these dudes and collect stacks of 20 of em and then auction em. You can get a few pp or more for that higher lvl player that is not intent on wasting time killing bats. So, bat whack when things are slow for humans, most Norrath evenings!

Posted: Oct 12 2000 at 9:08 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) These bats are VERY hard and i strongly suggest that you stay away from them until you are 50+ and in a full group of the same. they have been known to drop all the new "ultimate" weapons for each class. the fur of the bat is also used to make colbolt armour (not that anyone cares it SO common)

Posted: Feb 07 2001 at 10:56 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yeah, and be careful, they cast area damage spells that go up in the 1000 damage range, they also hit for about 400 damage a pop, but they sometimes drop the epic weapons, so you don't haveta quest them

I know, ive fought them many times and they always train!!! These are BY FAR the best way to get bat wings
