I found the Best thing to do was to make a Social with the trigger phrase in it. For those that may not know how, it is /say I wish to prove myself to the order. I only had to click it a few time running aroung in a cirlce at the Loc +3300,+2800.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE TARGETING YOURSELF. seems like that the trick to insta spawn him
I too was having problems spawning this guy, however the strategy of targeting yourself and running all over the place around the totem works perfectly. It was 5pm game time when I spawned him and he appears on top of you then throws a few hits.
Best bet is to make a hotkey and just click it like mad as you run around.

Taken down by a 70 monk Slitherspike and 70 druid Meddow on the Xegony server. Disciple of moon does have allot of HP. But was a pretty clean fight! The Druid Meddow had to heal me 4-5 times but other than that used two HOT potions and mend twice. Slitherspike was full buffed with Temerity and some shaman buffs. Roughly 11K HP on the monk.

Well, my guildies helped me with this step of 1.5. However when we got to the spire in NW corner, I got the emote and started spamming the message. Nothing happened. It was 10pm game time so I know he was supposed to spawn. Ran around in circles for 5 minutes spamming, still nothing. Finally, decided to target myself since I got the emote and hit the message button once, spawned right on top of me. Killed him, got my symbol, and polished it. So, there you go. Make sure it's after 9pm game time, find out who in your group got the emote, target that player (yourself if you got the emote) and /say the message "I seek to prove myself to the Order" and whack away. Hope this helps.

omg this was a pain, just spamm it target yoruself target group members just run around the statue spammming. and just beofr you petition a gm spam it 2 or 3 more times. and he wills pawn
fights not solo, if your under 80, so bring a sham friend (slows heals ect) and you will be fine almsot 10k bufless hp monk tank'ed him with no issues

this strat works....solo'ed with 76 monk.....mob does not regen if you FD in an emergency....not sure if he would de-pop if you FD too long...never hit a double...had aura on

I got the emote when we got to the area. Once he targeted me and said the phrase (capitalized O), boom, spawn. So rarrazz was right. See if anyone else in your group got the emote, target them, and hotbutton the phrase.

This is impossible i was at there today used all tips here, its all BS nothing works. Ironic that SoE makes a suck poor epic event. or not ?

Been trying to spawn him for about 3 weeks now, mob wont spawn. Have tried all strats and everything to get him to go, maybe bugged?

Order must be in caps... went to loc Pos 3300 Pos 2800 and ran around with a hotkey -- saying I seek to prove myself to the order -- ran around spamming it. The second I changed the "o" to captial O in order, hit the hotkey and bam it spawned after first click...

As it says elsewhere here, the phrase is "I wish to prove myself to the Order"
I tried "seek" for a while with no success, targetting myself and others in the group. I changed it to "wish" and got the spawn to happen. I did not have anyone targeted at the time. I will say that I had originally got the emote myself when I got to the area and about 5 mins elapsed before I actually got the spawn.

So, I was trying to pop him and was having trouble at first. Tried the whole targetting myself thing, and it wasn't working. Problem was, I never saw the message, or whisper in my ear or whatever from the guy, but the Shadowknight in the group did, so I took a last ditch effort and targetted the SK and said the message again.. boom, he spawned

At around +3400 +2971 i said I wish to prove myself to the Order, and he spawned after about 3 or 4 times pressing hotbutton. Easily owned him with 70 druid, 70 cleric, and me (70 monk) just tanked and they healed me, took about 10minutes, never had to FD, only got one add but druid kited it easily. most it hit me for was 843, but never doubled it, never got under 30%.

Got him to spawn around /loc 3323, 2819, Northwestish from there. Despawns after about 15 minutes. Can confirm no regen, but still doesn't make him soloable by a partially Time geared unbuffed monk. :(

I had done this about 2 weeks ago or so and wanted to let every1 know how to get him to spawn easly. You do not have to target urself that does nothing to help. Once you get to the location u will see a stone piller. Once you see the text on ur screen all you need to do is run around the piller spamming the sh*t out of area. It does not matter if it is a capital O or lower case o. I spawed him 3 times to test this. You should only have to say it about 15 times or so as you run around the piller and he will spawn trust me. Just remember he is a belly caster. Also this mob does not have any regin what so ever as the Sun does not. Easly done with a ranger and or healer. The ranger can kite or just use a pally or war. to tank. He goes down very very easy. I will send in a pic. I took for EQ to post as well.

did sun and moon with my 70 monk and 70 chanter easy no healer needed

just did this fight and the disciple of sun today. disciple of sun went down easily, duoed with me (67 monk) and a 67 ranger friend, but this mob was much tougher. we tried this mob, and found that it was one of the most resistant mobs ive ever fought. ranger couldnt land snare, and mage guildie who tagged along couldnt even land malo. so just a warning, unless i got strangely unlucky, dont expect this fight to be the same as the disciple of sun.

you had problems with resists because he is a belly caster.

Time of Day doesnt matter, spawned mine at 2am.

doesnt run, 70pally with max defensive tanked with druid healing. able to do fight before 65btw, and did it at 64.
I foundi needed to have diarys turned in and pages done as well to get this mob to spawn

This -does- hit for 850ish max, but only double hits, no quad. Fully slowable, piece of cake to duo with a shaman, just remember to be under belly for spell casts. AND important; it will -only- spawn if you say the words between 6pm and 8pm. If it doesnt spawn at 6pm then just continue to spam for a while, I got mine at 7pm. Be close to the "sculpture thing" Can do all of the monk epic up to 7th hammer with only a shaman partner.
The statement about it spawning only between 6-8PM time is not true... I got it to spawn at 5AM after spamming the area for 6-7mins. If finally spawned when I said the sentence close to the little statue/building or w/e

to get here, port to CS, run to SG, succor, and zone into WW. once in WW head to the north west corner. the loc is pos 3300, pos 2800. you will get an emote from a soft voice telling you to prove yourself... this lets you know he is up and you can fight him. getting him to spawn is rather difficult. i made a hot key with 2 lines, first was "/say i wish to prove myself to the order". second was "/say i seek to prove myself to the order"... it prolly took me around 10 min of spamming to get him to spawn... quite frustrating. there is a little "sculpture" thing near the loc, i was was just NE of it when the dragon popped.
was told he doubles for 850 max, though i never got hit for more than 608. we had no tank, so i took care of that, had somewhere around 8.5k hp, more than enough. his ae is cold based and pretty easy to resist or partial resist. like many (if not all) velious dragons, he is a belly caster and you must be in melee range or he will resist everytime. once we figured that out, it was tremendously easy. he doesnt enrage, he doesnt rampage, he doesnt fury, he doesnt run... just about as straight forward as possible. easily a 1 group encounter.
btw, he is level 70, not 65 as listed.
