I believe this is the end boss for LoY. I have killed him one time. collecting the items to spawn him is such a pain. But I did it so I can say I have completed the LoY expansion.
Really easy encounter at lvl 90. Took a shaman friend with me just in case but me and my merc could easily have taken this guy. Didnt drop my Vander's so its back to farming spawn items again sadly. He is a very cool looking mob Ill say that :)
So i have done this event 6 times now the first 2 i wiped with two groups but 3rd and 4th killed him with one group easy. The first four times we never saw a vander bain drop . Today i did it my 5th and 6th time and got 2 vanders to drop off the captain the first time and 1 vanders to drop off him the second time we did him . I have yet to see his 2hs drop and a lot of the drop I have seen drop off the fists and captain are not posted here I have the stats and will post soon. Myonly advise to someone is get multi sets of hand ins ready to go because the event resets it self right away almost and do a few hand ins at once . So your friends arnt being bugged to head to hates fury every few days. I still cant figure out how to spawn the navigaor or what triggers him if anyone has anymore infor on it pls let me know

Ive done him 3 times, once when i made a new guild on SolRo and he wuz a fun decently challenging mob for a guild at the time with a lvl req of 55+ ( majority being around 62 ) and a raid window of 2.5 hours ( 41 members ), now i did him twice with that guild and once with friends, First off, out of these 3 encounters, no, i haven't scene this guy move from his cabin. Always had a raidforce of 16-30 people, and he NEVER causd a problem meaning any guild thats been around more then 6months even if they have NO LEVEL REQ should have the numbers and lvls to farm him ( for any reason i wouldn't know why you would :P ) His AE slow is the biggest problem i should think, he hit the entire encounter my 2nd time for round 400-550 but the other 2 he hit for arond what Tnexus said. It is without doubt, the most necessery thing in this fight besides healing ur MT :P that you slow him, this ****** may be in a gimp zone but his dps isn't something to be ignored soo keep ur controll in the fight well centered.
if i bring 2 groups of 65,s elemental and time geared people in 11k war 10k war 2x 9.5k war 3clerics ft 15 etc etc sham ranger ench rog would this be good? (ench with charmed pet etc)

Ok, answer me this. If it is a 50 % slow, the Ch becomes 15 seconds instead of 10 seconds right? So couldnt one just lower from say a 35 delay which is already fast, to a 29 or so delay. Then the guys handling the 4 ads just have a druid heal early on Chs for tanks.? I see a BL as a perfect distraction from the Adds, they can slow it and pet park it, then they can just heal pet on occasion, OH one more thing.. are the 4 adds mezzable?
The four adds are NOT mezzable. the need to be tanked and not killed. A Pally/SK are the best to take care of them, but if you have a well equipped BL they can do a good job too. However you need melee dps bad for captain and a BL would be wasted tanking something you do not want to kill.
Quick tricks to make this fight easy. Blood of Nadox (LoY quest spell)is a group spell and cures 2 of the most annoying DoT's the room uses. Next use an instant clicky to counter the Dispel as it takes the clicky off each time it goes off. The dispell by the way is the easiest to resist completely with 150MR or higher. The only tricky part is Remove Curse for the slow. 9 counters will be removed by RC, so you save some mana from RGC. Can be gotten in LDoN easily for all classes that can cast RGC like Druids, Clerics, pally's and such. Lastly the AoE rampage usually has a max range of either 20ft or 30ft depending on mob size. Have eeryone fight at max melee range for the mob and shouldn't get hit. These are similar tricks to fighting Dragons and some PoP gods. Strategy and good gear/spell selection makes ANY fight tons easier no matter what level you are or the mob is.

This guy is MAJOR gimp, the problem is the ROOM AOE's...........we killed him with 3 groups. It was a long fight but can be done, with enough druids and clerics with RC and RGC.
Just need a good tank and a back up. Keep the clerics and the druids safe and your home free.
ok if he has 100k hps, and you guys took 51 peeps to kill you guys all must be like 45ish? The gloom nightmares have 60khps and they go down in 30 secs with one group so somthing isnt adding up. Anyhow, I am gonna bring 2 groups of 65's into this soonish and let you guys know how it went.
Took that many because there was virtually no info on this encounter anywhere on the web. Going into this encounter in the dark is not as easy as it sounds. Average level was around 64 is my guess.
Another thing I'd love to know is, is he perma rooted or can you get him out of his cabin to fight?
Since the info says the AEs are environmental, rather than mob cast, this would be really good to know.
Thanks.
Doh! Found the answer to my own question. He is a triggered spawn, and when you spawn him, the doors of his cabin are essentially sealed. So, yup, perma rooted.
Hits for roughly 650s, slowable via Grummus I think, and has squat for hps, probably no more than 100khp. However, considering he AE rampages and his AE slows are really bad, it seems like a ton. Currently 1 for 2 on this encounter. Barely won the second time with 51 people.
